Are these necessary? I’m not willing to find out
We couldn’t survive without our Baby Brezza bottle washer/dryer/sterilizer. We’ve saved countless hours of hand washing, boiling, and air-drying bottles by using it. We use these descaler tabs about once a week in the machine, and it keeps it residue-free and running smoothly. Some people may say they’re not necessary, but I’m not willing to risk not using them and damaging my favorite and arguably the most necessary machine in the house, lol. The box does indicate to use a descaling tab about every 20 loads, but we do probably double that before running a descaling.

These work great at keeping my bottle washer clean. Use one after I finish a detergent package. Great value to keep the washer running.

A bit pricey, but still effective
These are great at doing the job they were designed for, but I'm sure there are cheaper versions out there, in all honesty. I throw one of these in about once a month in my baby Brezza, and it does a wonderful job descaling and getting rid of any built-up gunk.
