incredible
'Everyone always wants money because everyone else also always wants money, which means you can exchange money for whatever you want'Just finished this masterpiece. After reading this book, my perception of money has changed. In ancient times, people had gold coins and they considered it a weapon as it cannot be eaten, drunk or toren. People used it to cure heart diseases.Later, money is used for barter. You could get anything and everything in exchange of money.Author has beautifully explained how money has revolutionized our future. Money can exploit but at the same time, if used intelligently can be used for economic growth. This journey of advancement in money, will make you think about it and will leave your mind with many questions to be answered and will also shake you up to work more religiously for it.

Stunning
Starting with the basics, Harari takes the reader to the future amazing, stunning, grossly unequal world of algorithms and algorithms that created few superhuman and rest mass of 'useless' people. Already approaching my mid-eighties, I feel happy that I will not be a witness to that world. He takes a non-technical reader smoothly through the AI-robotics-biology-genetics led world round the corner. A world providing unthinkable comfort. But also that world creating exclusivity to a point where the promised land would be appropriated by and will belong to a few. And the momentum towards that world is evident now, and with gathering speed, almost unstoppable. A must-read for all. Liberals and conservatives alike.

tells the story not taught by mainstream media and educationists
It tells an unbiased account of money, gold and investments and how they are related to colonisation by the West . It has exerpts from Homo Sapiens and Homo Deus. If you have read them then you need not buy it.

While the thoughts and ideas are great, the overall structure of the book lacks coherence
Yuval Harari is one of the most profound thinkers of this century...but this book disappoints. It starts off withthe history of money and how it works and then suddenly moves into AI and its implications for humanity....and then ends rather abruptly. While the thoughts and ideas are great, the overall structure of the book lacks coherence.

Good
It’s a good book. All the themesinside had been written on the others 3 books from the same author. The economic stuff had been written on his books before. Adam Smith’s Book explain way way better the meaning and the history of money. For a short and superficial reading this book achieve the goal, for something more profound recommend the first two books of this same author and the Adam’s Smith classic Wealthy of Nations.
