Good Quality coconut scrapper
I was little hesitant before purchasing it due to many average / negative reviews but it was going for just 110 bucks, so I said what the heck, let's try it and I'm glad I bought it, results are good. I scrapped the complete coconut in less than 5 minutes without much effort. Only challenge is to break the coconut in equal halves. I saw some vids on youtube for it, but wasn't able to manage it. I've seen some other scrappers on Amazon which have a special blade like thing for this. This one does not have. Also I feel the scrapper blade can be made longer farther from base, so no coconut falls on slab between base and plate during scrapping, as in this one some of it falls in the gap due to closeness. Deducting 1 star for it. For all the people, who are having problem with vacuum base, try placing it on a smooth surface like glass, granite, etc. A little bit of water on rubber pad before tighting it can also help. Suction base does not function.
The suction base does not hold firmly and becomes loose while using the scrapper. It was tried on granite and wood surfaces and malfunctioned from its very first use. Waste of money. Doesn't work as advertised.

Most convenient manual coconut scraper ever!
Anjali coconut scraper was suggested by my mother., Was amazed how strong it's suction power was on a clean granite slab. So immediately wanted one too. Until now we have been using the traditional scraper on which we sit on one end and scrape the coconut on the spikes mounted perpendicularly. Now that feels way too uncomfortable and I'm super happy with this one. It's steel body promises additional durability too and the rubber base is also thick enough to last for years to come. A must have!
