Spectacular Iron
The CHI Iron is well-built and versatile, making it suitable for pressing or steaming any garment. The temperature control dial is nearly accurate, allowing you to select the appropriate setting for different fabrics (note that this may vary with other models). The steam function is adjustable, letting you control the level of steam output as needed, which is a fantastic feature. With two press triggers for spray and steam, this iron provides greater precision for detailing garments. The cord retraction button works effectively, provided the cord is straight and only has minor tangles. The titanium ceramic-coated soleplate allows for ease of use when pressing or steaming garments.A key safety feature is the auto shut-off, which prevents the iron from burning garments or starting a fire. It will automatically shut off after 30 minutes if resting on its heel, after 60 seconds when resting on either side and after 60 seconds when resting on the soleplate.Additionally, the self-cleaning feature uses steam to clean out the ports and remove any debris or dirt.**Cons:**The titanium ceramic coating can be scratched, as it is just a coating like that on a nonstick pan. Improper handling can damage it, especially when in contact with zippers, metal buttons, pins, and protrusions on garments. Exercise caution to protect the soleplate. While the retractable cord is convenient, it is not 100% reliable and may jam, preventing the plug from fully retracting. The cord can overlap itself inside the casing, which may cause it to get stuck, so it needs to be guided when the retraction button is engaged.Still worth purchasing💯

Love this iron!
Replaced my seven year old Rowenta iron with this one. I iron household items and also sew. I love that this iron stays on for 30 minutes if in an upright position and beeps when it's about to shut off. It turns itself off after 10 minutes if on its side or flat on a surface without movement. It heats up very quickly. Steam output is adjustable which is a nice upgrade from the Rowenta. I hadn't heard of this brand before but it was recommended by Wirecutter, so took a chance on it rather than just getting another Rowenta. Worth the money!!!!

Perfect. Zero regrets. So glad I bought.
I was honestly very skeptical of the reviews on this, but man was I wrong. This thing looks beautiful, is extremely powerful, well-made, solid in the hand, and has probably one of the best cord retract mechanisms I've ever used on an iron with this feature. The thing was so strong it whipping the cord back so fast I was like woah!I'm a guy and do minimal ironing (dress shirts and pants for work) and love it. Great heat output and the steaming is insane strong. The water spout is great and makes for easy fill at the sink. And the controls are simple, well marked, and easy to set and reset. If you're in need of a powerful iron that works great, is solid, strong and consistent heat and steam output, easy to use, and looks cool this is the one for you.

Well pleased. This iron gets hot quickly. Love the adjustable steam volume. Made well. Enjoy the long cord.

It lasted 3 years - buyer beware
Call me old fashioned, but shouldn't an iron last longer than three years? Mine now no longer turns on, and I can't help but to remember my grandmother's trusty 20 something year old iron that was still going strong when I was much younger. Maybe my expectations are too much, but I'm pretty sure most of these reviews are the type of quick responses that a company seeks out shortly after a sale, that gives a decent picture of how the iron functions weeks after purchase, but says nothing about the durability of the iron. Trust me when I tell you, this product is not worth your purchase, and the company if you write to them shortly after the warranty runs out, will not stand behind their product. I was told directly from the company that it's too bad, the warranty is gone and I guess I just have to buy another iron. But like I said earlier, I don't think my expectations are set too high to be disappointed by a pricey iron lasting only 3 years. Where can I buy a product that actually lasts and the company has honor and stands behind their product with a lifetime warranty? Too much to ask you say? Then how about the company at least stands behind their product that lasts barely 3 years? Therefore, take my word for it, avoid this iron if you expect a product that will last a long time, and that the company will stand behind. Perhaps the company is standing behind this product, but they are so far behind it that they're expectation is that I will have to simply buy a new iron. Don't believe these reviews based off of a short usage of this iron, take this from someone who actually had the iron for 3 years.
