Excellent purchase
I needed a padlock that I could read the numbers and this is the best one. I had bought others but I had difficulty reading the numbers when my glasses were in the locker.. The bright colour means I can see it without having to add a sticker to personalised. A robust padlock with easy to see numbers!

Setting the lock
Having read reviews and questions I decided to go ahead and buy 2 x 2 packs. On receipt the the locks looked sturdy and fluidly on the default setting. Looking at the bottom of the lock I thought that there was no setting leaver as described and I knew that this had been reported before therefore I proceeded to look up the answer given on the question page. Try as I might I could not reset the lock. Noting the small screw head on the base next to an orange bar I proceeded to investigate. Remove the screw over a dish of some sort so that it is not lost. The little black plastic plate drops out to reveal the setting bar which can then be slid into the correct position as shown in the photos. Setting and testing the lock is easy returning the plastic plate and screw id a bit fiddly so again, do it over a plate in case it drops out before it is secure (I managed to loose two screws and a plate before I perfected my technique). The lock will still function correctly without the plate in place but it gives security in preventing accidentally changing the combination. I tested each lock several times and all functioned perfectly. As these are being used outside on the coast. I gave them all a spray of bicycle chain oil which I had to hand (someone suggested a graphite spray). Tested locks again and all functioned perfectly. They are now in situ and I will report back in six months. The previous brass padlocks had to be removed with penetrating all or bolt cutters respectively after about that time, we shall see.

Great locks
Pretty good locks, they feel sturdy and I like that. I'd recommend these there really isn't much more to say.

They work and are easy to use
Bought about 10 in batches of them over the last 4 months or so because the design is superior to others being easier to read the numbers. Not sure if all have been manufactured from the same source as one is strangely showing signs of rust and others have slightly different ways of altering the combination with some having a cover over the lever to use and other not so. However I would still be happy to buy more particularly if one expects to have to open and close them often.

Better than more expensive branded options.
Great locks for the price, mechanism feels sturdy and smooth, not been through a winter yet but I’ll be spraying with silicon spray to keep things moving. I’d definitely buy more.

Decent quality
Been using outside for around a year, still working well, I have been piling to preserve. Easier than having extra keys.

Lock broke
1 of the 2 padlocks broke within 10 uses. Set the lock code, used one when I go to the gym. Came back after a workout to open my locker and the padlock wouldn’t release after putting my code in. The lock had to be cut off with bolt cutters. Not great.

Great Gym locker
Super easy and to use gym locker. Dial is super easy to turn and operate. I have used it on two different sized lockers for over a year and no issues. Easy to reset combo if needed and has sturdy build. As anyone knows with locks, if they really want to get in there is nothing stopping it but this does a great job of not making it easy for casual shoplifters to access. HIGHLY recommend if looking for a gym locker.

Not so secure
The locks seem rather weak and not robust. May have made a mistake.

Great Quality Lock
The quality and feel of this lock is very nice. It seems to be quite solid and doesn’t rattle or have any play in the number dials. It is easy to set your own code once you remove the security plate on the bottom (Phillips screwdriver required). Works well as my gym lock.I’m very satisfied with this product. 5/5

Take that, gym thieves!
I bought this lock after an incident at the gym. I had been using a standard dial padlock (you know, the SUPER common one with a name that rhymes with "blaster"). Well, I came back from working out to find my locker open. I thought "Wait, what? Did I not lock my lock?" Nothing had been taken, but every pocket on my gym bag had been gone through, my stuff was all over, and my lock was GONE. Ew! It only takes a mere matter of a couple of seconds to get into that dial "blaster" lock. It's really "security theater" for sure. Not only that, but every other lock in the locker room was gone, too, except for one that looked like a FortLock. That got my attention! We immediately got rid of those locks and after a bit of online digging, got these. It was easy to set my own combination. There are instructions included that were easy to follow. This lock isn't as susceptible to shimming (the common method to get into that other lock), and so far I haven't had a problem since. HOORAY for FortLock! The numbers on the dial are pretty large, so use discretion when dialing your combination if others are present. The dials "slot" well and the lock feels like it's pretty heavy duty for a gym lock. Any padlock CAN be broken into with enough time (or a bolt cutter), but since I doubt that gym thieves are walking through the lobby with a bolt cutter, I'll take the FortLock. If they can't shim it in a few seconds, they're going to go on to the next target. Get a FortLock, too, so the "next target" isn't your locker!
