**Product:** 24.5" Gaming Monitor 240Hz, Z-Edge UG25F FHD 1920x1080 Computer Monitor**Price:** $159.99**Brand:** Z Z-EDGE**Screen Size:** 24.5 Inches**Resolution:** FHD 1080p**Aspect Ratio:** 16:9**Screen Surface:** Glossy**My Take:**The Z-Edge UG25F gaming monitor has some strong points and a few drawbacks, making it a decent option for budget-conscious gamers.**Pros:**- **240Hz Refresh Rate:** The high refresh rate does deliver on smooth gameplay, reducing motion blur and ghosting, which is a big plus for fast-paced gaming.- **Design:** The sleek, three-sided edge-to-edge design is modern and maximizes screen space. The VESA mount compatibility also adds versatility in terms of setup options.- **Versatile Connectivity:** The inclusion of two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 allows for seamless connection with various gaming consoles and PCs. It even worked with my Pixel 6a, automatically detecting video input.- **Dynamic Backlight:** The backlight breathing light adds a nice ambiance to the gaming setup, enhancing the overall experience.**Cons:**- **Not True 1ms Response Time:** Despite the 1ms claim, I found the response time closer to 5-7ms, which isn’t a dealbreaker but might be a letdown for those expecting ultra-fast performance.- **Limited to 1080p:** While the monitor performs well, the 1080p resolution feels a bit dated, especially for gamers looking for higher resolution displays.- **Freesync Compatibility Issues:** Unfortunately, the FreeSync feature didn’t work with my Nvidia or Intel GPUs, which limits its appeal for those not using AMD cards.- **Viewing Angles:** Like many TFT LCD displays, this monitor has limited viewing angles, with the screen becoming washed out if you're not positioned directly in front of it.**Overall:**For $159.99, this monitor offers solid performance for casual gaming. It’s well-built, with a modern design and decent features for its price range. If you're on a budget and can overlook the limitations like the true response time and 1080p resolution, it’s a reasonable choice. However, if you have a bit more to spend, you might want to consider higher-end options. I give it 4 stars.

Very high quality display
This monitor is very much what I'd expect from a high-end gaming monitor. With its 240Hz refresh rate and the 1ms response time, displayed motion is smooth with very minimal blur and ghosting. And its FreeSync technology automatically synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with my graphics card to reduce jittering/stuttering/tearing. Great color and contrast, with deep blacks and bright whites. As far as connections, there are 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4. And the screen is designed edge-to-edge, maximizing the viewing area. I'm very pleased with this monitor, and I think it's a good value for the money.

Versatile Gaming Monitor For Those Looking At Performance And Value
The Z-Edge UG25F 24.5in Gaming Monitor 1080 FHD 240Hz is a gaming monitor that strikes the balance between performance and value. It is at the limit of optimal screen-pixel density for 1080p. It does have HDR setting option, and it makes the color contrast more vibrant. The two back LED light panels are neat, add to any RGB setup, and can be toggled on/off, but there’s only one pattern, which is slow breathing rotation of various colors (no solid, can’t choose colors, no timer/cycle options). The settings also have basic audio adjustments, but that is for the Aux audio output port as this monitor does not have internal speakers. x2 HDMI and x1 DPI ports are a nice array of port options. Monitor edges and casing are all plastic, while the included stand is black painted aluminum (which feels sturdier than plastic) and the tilt can be slightly adjusted vertically. There’s also a VESA 100x100mm mounting option. Weight feels relatively light, the screen is a decent VA panel with matte surface, and being able to reach up to 240hz is great for FPS. Overall decent monitor for versatile uses.
