I mean.... it's a RING doorbell ....
I never thought a doorbell would become one of my favorite tech purchases, but here we are. The Ring doorbell has completely changed how I feel about home security. The installation was straightforward — I had it up and running in under 30 minutes, and I’m not exactly a DIY pro.The video quality is sharp, even at night, and the motion alerts are fast and accurate. I love being able to see who’s at my door, whether I’m home or not. The two-way talk feature is surprisingly clear, and it’s been great for everything from chatting with delivery drivers to scaring off door-to-door salespeople. The app is intuitive and gives me full control over motion zones and notifications. I also appreciate the ability to check in on past footage with the Ring Protect plan — totally worth the small monthly fee. It’s not just a gadget - it’s added a genuine layer of comfort and control to my everyday life. Highly recommend if you’re even slightly considering it.— A very satisfied (and now more secure) homeowner

Perfect door Camera :)
Functions great I had it up but had to take it down due to moving , Picture quality is great everything is clear and audio is perfect , sensitive camera will go off and alert off any slight movement pass camera , night vision picks up well , storage capacity is good you can buy more and also you’ll have to buy a plan for your ring during set up , I had no trouble with lag time it may be different with different area or service connections .

Perfect picture quality.
Much better than the wired Ring doorbell camera. I had the wired one but the chime in the hall buzzed constantly so I removed it and got this battery operated one and I love it. My neighbors across the street were arguing and their voices were picked up so well by the Ring they sounded like they were on my porch. The picture quality is perfect and you can see up, down and both sides very well. I’ve only had it installed for one week so I’m not able to say much about the battery except I completely charged it before installing it and after finishing all the settings following the installation instructions the battery had drained down to 62% and a week later it’s at 54%. It came with a charging cable and device to remove it from the wall so it can be brought in to charge it.

Awesome unit that doesn't disconnect from WiFi
Okay, I've had a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 for about 2 years. Always had issues and upgraded my transformer from 16VA to 24VAC and the issues dissipated, didn't disappear, just fewer of them. For some reason, if you "tap" the bell button with a mechanical doorbell ringer, the Wi-Fi is disconnected. This use to occur every time until I changed my transformer. Likely an electronic doorbell ringer would have resolved this. In any event, my original Ring Doorbell never had issues so I went with this Battery Doorbell, why? Because it has a battery AND you can hardwire it, no more Wi-Fi issues. If the doorbell needs additional power, it can draw from the battery anything the transformer is not providing. To be honest, there is much difference between the Battery Doorbell or the Pro 2 (now Pro); Field of view is the same and sound quality is just as good. I don't receive the "bird's eye" view of how someone walked to my front door, but I have several other cameras that will capture that footage. At a 1/5th the price of the Pro, why wouldn't I change a naturally faulty doorbell out.

OK, but has a major issue
Good, but with a major flaw; neighbors! The doorbell part works fine, once you manage to get it installed. A super problem is neighbors, especially in a densely populated area. Alert after alert from neighbors run my phone battery down way early. Calling Ring so called support only provided me with the work around I had already figured out for myself; disabling location.. Some sources say you can turn off neighbors through the control panel, I could not find such a switch and the support agent I talked to, said it did not exist. Anyway it works OK, for my intended usem but I cannot recommend it in general. UPDATE ring Special support was able to sole the neighbor issue. The only reason for a 4 rating is I feel regular support should have solved it. With all due respect to Ring, I feel neighbors is a bad option to even have.

Good to have Doorbell camera again!!
I purchased due to the doorbell I had suddenly didn’t want to connect to my WiFi. Easy to set up. Same size as my previous doorbell camera. Good picture quality. Doorbell notifications good! I never had any issues or problems with Ring. Maybe a little bit of lag time but can’t be sure until I get it on the door after it gets done charging. You can change settings for the doorbell to your liking.

Good product
Really like my ring doorbell, works great, even my cat's learned to use it to let me know they wanted back in the house, they jump up on the rail right in front of it and sit there knowing it is going to set it off and I'm going to look at it and come let them in lol.
