Wish the case covered the bottom of the phone - that portion is exposed to scratches and that’s not great. Other than that, the quality is very good and feels like it’s going to hold up nicely.

They are so close to perfection, but a couple glaring issues are holding it back. The Good: • Leather is phenomenal, the suppleness and grain are fantastic. It’s soft without feeling delicate and provides just enough grip that I don’t worry about dropping my phone yet it doesn’t get hung up when taking/putting into my pockets. • Camera protection is very generous and I quite like how the “ring” is integrated into the case back with a gentle slope and remaining leather covered. I wasn’t sure I’d like this aspect but I actually do quite a lot. • Button quality is tactility is second to none. Nothing more to say, they’re great. The Bad: • Open bottom… Why… WHY?!!? This alone is worth a star to star and a half deduction in my books. It’s actually enough of a detraction for me that I’m considering returning it for this reason alone. A case touted as this premium and certainly with this price tag, should provide maximum coverage. Yeah I’ve heard the “cable compatibility” blah blah blah. I’ve had dozens of cases (I have an addiction, what of it) and not a single one caused issue with the dozens of brands of cables I have and use. This “reasoning” is cope, plain and simple and the potential issues that arise with it (to me) far outweigh the “problem” it “solves”. Glass protection. They have this nice generous lip around the entirety of the screen with a nice subtle curve wrapping just slightly around the edge as if it were literally “hugging” your phone, it’s so perfect until you get down to that bottom edge… terrible. Exposed glass and exposed frame of the device, but additionally, if like me, you ever use your phone one-handed then you also know this creates an unpleasant and uncomfortable edge that digs into your pinky during use. In my book, there is absolutely no excuse for this and it is a design FLAW. • Price… $90 plus tax and it’s not even Made in the US… are you kidding me? Nothing in this product category coming out of china should cost this much. The profit margin on these must be simply astronomical. If the open bottom issue alone wasn’t enough reason to me to return this product, on the fact of asinine pricing, I may again be convinced to send it back. So to reiterate, this is a nearly phenomenal case with two massive issues that, for me, mean not recommending this case to anyone.

Beautiful case! I’ve owned many Bullstrap cases and they just keep getting better. Soft leather with a rich leather smell. The Ocean color with the open bottom looks amazing.

Bullstrap makes a decent case. But their Lifetime Warranty claim is false advertising. Over a couple years of use, most cases are going to get some wear and tear. Bullstrap’s cases first fail at the buttons, which get loose and rattle. Eventually the clear plastic shell underlying the leather fails at the corners and gets floppy and tears off. No big deal, but they make it sound like you can simply submit a warranty claim and get a new case. That’s BS. What they actually do is completely ignore you. I first bought the Bullstrap case in the photo below on May 29, 2022. I opted in to their warranty program when they sent me an email on June 22, 2022. I submitted a warranty claim through their website in May 2023, but never got any kind of confirmation of the claim. On June 1, 2023 and June 14, 2023 I sent emails to Bullstrap’s customer service account asking why my warranty claim had been ignored and submitting photos of the original order form. I have heard nothing. Bullstrap apparently ignores warranty claims completely and just doesn’t communicate with customers who make them. The card in the photo is a lie. There is no warranty. So, 1 star. Decent case; but you should all know it is just a one-off and the warranty they claim to offer is just window dressing with no substance.

Ich hatte auch das originale Apple Leder Case, jedoch ist es einfach so, dass die Apple Cases seit geraumer Zeit keine bzw eine nicht so schöne Patina entwickeln. Man kann an vielen Beispielen auf Social Media sehen, dass die Bullstrap Cases alle eine schöne Patina entwickeln. Der zweite Grund war, dass das Case unten offen ist. Ich finde so ist der Komfort einfach höher und angenehmer für die Hand. Ansonsten ist die Qualität auf den ersten Blick gut und das Leder riecht auch angenehm. Großer Minuspunkt ist einfach der hohe Preis. Es ist ein gutes Case, aber ein höherer Preis als bei Apple ist mMn nicht gerechtfertigt.

Pedí este producto porque en la descripción literalmente dice “Funda de piel para iPhone 12/12 pro de color marrón”. Pues me llegó una funda para el iPhone 12 mini, y de color azul. Me siento realmente decepcionado, esperaba con ansias este producto debido a las buenas reseñas que he oído de su marca, pero después de un inconveniente como este me rehúso a volver a comprar algo suyo. El empaque del producto se siente barato, no se ve nada “premium” como lo anuncian. Poca protección, una lástima.
