I am a housewife.My mother recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.So I took her to live in my home.Just recently,something happened that I almost regret a lifetime thing.I was cooking at the time,I do not know my mother ran out,fortunately,after she went out for five minutes,I found out that the door was opened and she was gone.(If I realize it a bit later, I don't know what will happen.)Then I started to go out and find her,fortunately,someone saw her and she didn't go too far.So I found her(Thank God).When I took her home,I immediately called my sister and said this thing.She suggested that we take her to a nursing home,but I didn't agree,I want to accompany her.So my sister suggested that I buy a door alarm(Her friend has bought,and said that it is useful).So i bought these door alarms.It is easy to install,easy to operate,and the alert is very loud.And there are 4 alarm modes. As long as someone opens the door, it will alarm.Even if I am cooking,I can hear the alarm.This door alarm is really useful, my mother went out again a few days ago, but this time when the door opened, I heard the alarm,so nothing happened.I really recommend that there are old people or children at home,you can buy these door alarms.

Good and loud. Easy to install batteries. Default alarm, option 1, will continue to sound even if door is closed after opening it, or choose the option that stops if the door is closed immediately afterwards. I like the option to sound and keep sounding after the door is closed so that burglar will not know what to do even if he closes the door. If you set it off accidentally, reach up and turn it off with the switch on the side. The option 3, will shut off the alarm, when the door is closed. If the on/off switch is used to silence the alarm, it will revert to alarm option 1. If the set button on the opposite side is used to silence alarm, it will keep its setting 1,2,3 or 4. I like Option 1, so I just use the on/off switch - on to arm and off to disarm. It's a great back up in case my regular house alarm is not working.

These they are very nice good quality, made well and good design, but after two weeks both of them just completely stopped working. Perhaps I got just a bad set it does happen. The seller made it right and offered me a full refund with tax. They wanted me to be happy and were very easy to work with. I appreciate their communication.

This is just what I need! We live on a very busy street. It’s very dangerous for our little toddler to get out. There are many cars and people out there. We need something which can alert us when the door is open. This door alarm really does its job!It has turn on/off button, I just turn if off when no alert needed. Besides, it comes with a remote control which has arm, disarm, doorbell chime and SOS options. You can simply disarm it when you don’t want to be bothered by the alarm.The alarm sound is really loud, I can hear it anywhere in my house. The chime just dings twice and then you can leave the door open. The alarm setting will keep on for 1 minute and you can stop it by pressing the disarm button on the remote control, very convenient.Moreover, the installation is very easy, just stick it with the double side tapes. I put one on my front door and another on the window. As he is growing and one day he might try to open the window and sneak out.

We tried to install this on our back door. Followed all instructions, checked batteries multiple times, and watched videos uploaded here to confirm we were doing it right. No alarm sounds at all. There is a sound when we press the set button to indicate which type of alarm we are using but absolutely no alarm goes off on any of the settings.Seems like we have a faulty product here.

Poorly written product description and even more poorly written instructions.This product does not have a mode that alarms after the door is left open for one minute. It alarms EXTREMELY LOUDLY as soon as the door is open, continues to alarm even if the door is then closed, then stops the alarm after about one minute. Not what I thought when reading the product description.Note that the alarms modes (#1, #3) are EXTREMELY loud. You'll want hearing protection when installing and testing it. Which you probably want as an "alarm". The doorbell mode (#2) is a more pleasant volume good for a storefront, didi mode (#4) would be OK for an alert tone for doors left open as it's the quietest of the tones.Back to searching for a door alarm that has a delay mode, and a controllable volume. My kids keep leaving the attic door open. I don't care that the door gets open, only that it's left open.

Awesome tiny alarm, I got this alarm and installed it on the bedroom’s door, if my kids tried to open it, this alarm will immediately issues a loud alarm and turning off the switches is probably too difficult for a child to reach. So I'll definitely be sleeping better. I recommend this alarm for families with kids or even for security purposes, this is a fantastic little device. The battery will last a long time and it’s easy to buy at a retail store.

Directions would be nice! However we figured it out (trial and error) and these have been a lifesaver literally!Installed on all external doors and set for the LOUDEST alarm. My 91 year old Mother trys to get out and go for walks, no problems or calls to sheriff since we purchased these alarms. I actually purchased two more to place on both sides of the hallway door (bedrooms all off this hallway) and am able to sleep better knowing if she gets up and opens the hall door I will be awake immediately!
