The design of this product is perfect with almost a folded shape because often where you need the light is the complete opposite of where the sun is shining. I attach to a metal open carport that was built from a kit. I installed it in one minute because I used a screw that was already present on the trim. The light is very bright It's dim and then when motion is detected it turns to bright. The motion detection system works really well. The pivoting and angled choices for adjustment are ideal for getting the solar panel in the Sun and aiming the light where you need it. I highly recommend for the price.

Cord is too short! Unable to use for what I intended to use it for. But it is definitely bright and works!

IT LIKES ALOT OF SUN ONCE YOU AJUST THE LIGHT BUTTON ON IT AND REMOTE CONTROL THAT COMES WITH IT ITS ON JUST RIGHT IN A DARK SPOT IN YOUR YARD ALL NIGHT MEDIUM LIGHT AND IF ANYTHING MOVES BRIGHT LIGHT SHINES THEN GOES BACK TO THE WAY I SET IT MEDIUM DIM ALL NIGHT.....

After turning it ON and following the instructions it seems like the motion sensor doesn't quite recognize me sometimes at night, i know these can be a hit or miss but i would've liked something that could work more properly instead of a motion sensor that activates once in a while. I did place it so that the sensor would face straight at my door so that it has all of the chances to pick up something as it moves in front of it but it just doesn't..
