I recently picked up The Indoor Ball for my son, and it’s been a fantastic addition to his indoor soccer practice. Here’s my personal review:Safety and SoftnessFirst off, I really appreciate how soft this ball is. It’s designed for indoor use, so I don’t have to worry about my son bumping into things or getting hurt while playing. The material is gentle enough that he can kick and juggle it around without any fear of injury, making it perfect for indoor fun.PerformanceThe ball has a great feel to it. It’s lightweight and bounces nicely, which allows for smooth dribbling and juggling. My son loves practicing his skills with it, and it’s been great for his coordination. The silent design is a big bonus; it minimizes noise while he plays, so we don’t disturb anyone in the house!Size and HandlingBeing a Size 4, it’s just the right size for his age. I will say this is slightly different than what I was expecting, but I actually like it better than what I had pictured in my mind.There's a big trend for "indoor" balls or "silent" basketballs that are basically just high density sponge foam that reduces a lot of a traditional inflated ball by replacing the air bladder with an all foam construction. That does make them very quiet and very safe, but they're generally not very good at being a ball as they're pretty dead in terms of bouncing.This soccer ball, however, is still a traditional inflating ball, it's just one that has a soft fabric covering rather than firm PU, and it is played at a lower PSI inflation, making it give quite a bit more than others. So it's "softer" due to the fact that it isn't inflated as high and it is quieter because it is covered in soft fabric rather than synthetic leather.As such, it actually performs much better as a soccer ball, but it isn't as quiet as those all foam balls are.Overall, we're very happy with it. It would still knock things over and could still give a decent bloody nose if contacted directly with a hard kick, but, with a bit of common sense and care, this is as authentic of a soccer ball as you could hope to have while retaining the most "indoor" qualities possible.Love it!

My sons are 5 and 7, have tons of energy, and ALLLLLL they want to do is play soccer. Unfortunately, that means lots of ball playing in the house. So obviously, I wanted to try this ball out. If you keep your kicks low, I give this 5 stars. It's lightweight, but also has the heft of a real ball for working on ball skills. But when your boys are taking wild shots that go high...this ball is not much safer that a regular soccer ball and I cannot promise that your lamps and wall hangings will remain safe... But overall, it's a big improvement over what we were working with, so I absolutely recommend it.

After inflating the ball I noticed it wasn’t perfectly round and would roll unpredictably which has never happened with any soccer ball I’ve bought. QC doesn’t seem to be good so I bought a similar ball which didn’t have the same issue.
