Great tablet with minor drawbacks
Great tablet and would buy it again! Here’s my overall review. Screen Responsiveness 7/10 Display Quality and Brightness 9/10 CarPlay Connectivity 8/10 CarPlay Total Startup Time 20-40 seconds Tablet Audio 6/10 FM Transmitter Quality 3/10 (Limited channel range, static, and noticeable delay) Recommended use for older vehicles. Get a second FM transmitter adapter, connect your phone to the tablet, and then change your audio mode to bluetooth, it will the allow you to connect to your second transmitter. Now you have CarPlay, and FM audio with no delay.

Manual badly written hides any quality there may be in the product. Hard reset fixes bluetooth.
It would greatly have helped is the manual had been written by someone who knew how to write one other at least accurately translate it to English. It does not lead accurately to the correct camera. I have to return the one I got. It was stuid that they did not simply include a good camera and mic with it as a kit. They did not. The command sequence to operate the device is too vague and must be fished about to figure it out. This kind of sloppy software and bad instructions speaks loudly of money over quality. A true shame. And..... It completely lost its link to my phone. Tried and tried over again. Finally.... Did a hard reset and went all the way to factory settings. That really wasn't hard. Just took three steps. Strange. I set up bluetooth again. and it works. Just a case of computer old-school and it was fixed.

Good price.
Returned because my older parents could not work it. But it was a nicely designed product for a good price.

Disconnects from vehicle and difficult to pair
It’s a glorified screen mirror of your iPhone. It makes it easier to see the navigation apps when you’re driving, but otherwise it is clunky and often disconnects by itself. The audio directions do not always go through the vehicle’s speakers, and it is not obvious from the menu selections or poorly written instruction manual how to do so. For less than $300 it might be worth the problems the Carpurride has since a full head unit is over $800 plus the hassle of installation. We took the unit on a 2-week road trip from LA to Seattle in a 2016 Toyota RAV4 and the unit constantly disconnects itself from the iPhone. It requires passenger assistance to fix since the driver must concentrate on driving. We often resorted to using the iPhone alone to follow driving directions because the unit would disconnect from Carplay during upcoming exits or turns. I do not recommend purchasing this unit.

Quality not worth the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Why did you pick this product vs others?: Do NOT buy this unless it's on sale. This is in no way wirth the price. There are way cheaper out there for better. This barely works, disconnects Bluetooth for no reason at all and does some weird half of the screen freezing thing when you video call

The best CarPlay screen I've used.
I've tried several different Carplay screens and this is the one I ended up being my favorite. It was quick and easy to install and included all of the cables and mounts to do so. That said, I ended up purchasing a mount which slots into the CD player slot (I cant tell you the last time I used a CD so I don't mind losing the use of the CD player.) The screen is nice and large which makes reading the map (and other functions) while driving really easy. It also supports a split screen (not all carplay screens do). I like having both the map and either my music controls, or audible, easily accessible without having to switch apps. If I was forced to nitpick, I would have to say that for the large size of the screen, it only displays 4 icons per row for some reason. There are other smaller screens that show 5. The other nitpick is it is slow to startup and connect to my phone. That said the good far outweighs those small issues. This is a great option to add carplay to your vehicle.

Bluetooth disconnects sometimes, for an unknown reason. Also doesn’t always automatically connect, when you get in the car. Other than that, it’s great. Great sound. Nice screen.

Will not stay connected to Bluetooth on my phone. Have to reboot and setup connection each time I use the car. Once connected it will randomly drop connection for no reason. Horrible product support and no option to return

Always crashes and drops out of bluetooth connection. I would highly recommend getting a different brand stay away from this product. Sometimes it's hard to connect back on bluetooth device. I Always have to restart and factory reset. Annoying to say the very least!!

Slow and unresponsive. It is also incredibly bright at night and won't stay at a lower setting, blinding you unexpectedly. The AndroidAuto connect is sporadic and can take a long time to connect if you share the care with anyone else. I would not recommend this product to anyone and find it hazardous and not suitable.

So far it struggles to automatically connect via Bluetooth for CarPlay, and whenever I try to send a text via Siri it picks up the last three words Siri says (for example “Say to John, yes I would like to visit some time”, rather than “Yes, I would like to visit some time”…), otherwise seems to do a job. Not really worth the money in some ways.
