When/why would you want air to come in?

I only open the vents if the bread is still warm when I put it in. I think the bread keeper would be better without this feature as I seldom use it. The knob that turns this vent does not lock and so it tends to move on its own whenever you handle the bread keeper. It seems to be open when I don't want it opened a lot.

Does anyone have trouble with the top warping and not sealing properly

After 4 years of use this crisper is the best I have ever had. Yes mine did warp when I placed it in the dishwasher. Had to work to get it on. But after awhile it became easier. The top lid now shows signs of cracking. Ordered a new criper lids comes on and off much easier. The lids won't be going in the dishwasher.

It's about 12" long, 7" wide and 6" high. It's the perfect size for green leaf, red leaf or Romaine lettuce. I really like mine

Since it does not fit in refrigerator crisper, is it not too cold for lettuce on an upper shelf? That is my experience in bags. I buy already-washed.

As I make at least 2 very large (with a protein and various veggies) for dinners every week I always keep lots of lettuce in the fridge. I’ve never had a problem with the lettuce getting cold damaged and I keep my fridge at 42 degrees. Before I got this, using the crisper drawer, I always had some lettuce that had to be thrown out. Not anymore!!!
