GoPro Hero - Compact Waterproof Action Camera with 4K Ultra HD Video, 12MP Photo, Touch Screen

The media could not be loaded. I really love this new smaller edition of the GoPro cameras! First off, the camera feels very well made and doesn't feel cheap. It has a little weight to it for it's size, but is still very easy to hold and mount as needed. I was actually very surprised by the overall size of this camera. It definitely looks bigger in photos. This camera comes with a few accessories which are all GoPro branded and feel strong and sturdy. There is no case included with this camera, which isn't a deal breaker by any means, but something to keep it protected when not in use would have been nice.The camera itself is very easy to use and operate. The built in, bright touch screen really helps with this and is also very responsive and fairly easy to see in direct sunlight. You can also use the app to change settings as needed, too (there aren't many). The app itself is well designed and also easy to navigate.There are 3 modes to this camera. That's it. Because of this, it's great for beginners or for someone who needs quick, easy to use 4K without having to adjust settings, etc. before shooting.The 4K/30 FPS video quality is excellent and honestly, the best I have seen on an action camera at this price point, so far. While filming in 4K/30 the camera does get a little warm, but it hasn't shut itself off yet, at least for me. The quality of the images is excellent and very clear and crisp. Even low light images aren't terrible on this camera. Don't get me wrong, it's not anything like the day time images, however, for an action camera, it's really not awful. The built in microphones record good audio for an action camera and is extremely usable for most projects.The electronic image stabilization is excellent and in my opinion, is better then some gimbals. Keep in mind, there is no built in stabilization within the camera. It gets applied when viewed and exported from the app. So each video will need to be "processed" before exporting. To my surprise, this doesn't take long and it works really well. It's just another step before the video can used for whatever you might be working on.The battery life on this is pretty good and it really depends on your settings that will determine how long it will last. Filming in the highest setting (4K/30), the more battery this is going to use. They include the newer enduro battery inside which works better in extreme temperatures and provides more shooting time. The battery is built in and cannot be swapped for another battery. It will need to be charged through the camera itself. It doesn't take too long to charge and can be charged with a power bank while on the go. It can also be used while charging which helps.All things considered, I really like this camera and it is priced quite well for the overall quality it provides. It's one of those cameras you can just grab and go with. It's quick and super simple to get high quality 4K video in a pretty lightweight and very small package.

Nice camera excellent picture and quality. Looking more from gro pro. Only thing I don’t like is the battery is not good.

The short summary is that, I bought a go pro, it broke while I was trying to set it up. Amazon sent over a free replacement which ALSO broke while being set up. In the end I used my phone to do the recording I needed to do for school.Save your money, do not buy this. It’s not worth the hassle of trying to set this up when it’s a lot easier just to use your smart phone. I ended up returning both go pros, and the accessories along with the SD card to get my money back.

Great picture quality, super easy to use, and the video is of great quality! My only qualm is that it dies quickly even when not in ise.

Camera size is perfect for a helmet, quality is very good for the price. I just took this cam out on the trails with my dirt bike. The video stabilizer works well. The audio for this camera is great. My one and only issue is battery time. It’s horrible on this camera. If you shoot in 4K your lucky if it last 20-30 min max. I turned on power saving mode in Standard recording and was able to fully record my 2 hour ride. Soon after it died though. Also I wish you can change batteries on this camera. It’s only rechargeable with USB C BUT does charge back to full fairly quickly.Unfortunately you can’t put the 4:3 video mode in “power saving mode” which sucks because it’s a much wider and higher video.Overall for a camera under $200 you really get what you pay for. I chose this over the hero 13 every time.

Got this for my boyfriend as a birthday present and he loves it! I don't think either of us were expecting the quality of picture to be so high, but it was so clear! We like that there's so many accessory options so he can mount it to whatever he wants. As an unexpected bonus, it's basically a dashcam for his motorcycle in case anything happens! Value for money seems good just seeing what he's already gotten out of it.

Recieved quickly and in excellent condition. It took time to figure out that you need a special sd card to get the camera to work and of course it doesn’t come with the camera .After that ordeal everything went smoothly.

Absolutely garbage. I’ve never seen such a junk product from a “reputable” company. I powered this thing in for maybe an hour one time to set it up and update it.The next day, I used the camera for MAYBE 2hrs of filming. Tonight, I charged the camera and powered it on. It was at 90% so I said “hm might as well get it to 100%”. So I left it for maybe 10-15min. When I came back to the camera, it was turned off. I tried to turn it on and, nothing. Absolutely nothing I’ve done has made it turn on. I tried holding the button for 10sec, 25sec, over a minute. I’ve tried spamming the power button. I tried charging it for several more hours. Nothing.Absolutely pathetic. The thing can’t work for more than 1 DAY! I’ve never seen such junk product quality in my life.I will say, it worked well in the 3 total hours it did work.
