Works very well. It can handle anything. My main ingredients are frozen whole bananas, frozen half-avocados, frozen peanut butter scoops. Very convenient to just press a button and walk away.

My vitamix from the 1980s quit working. I hoped to save money by using a food processor instead. Unfortunately they have very different blades and the outcome was less than desirable. After careful consideration ($$) I decided to buy another one. So, I did some research and chose the Ascent 4x. I like the size of the pitcher, the pre programmed options and quiet engine. Wow, just wow! My old vitamix was very nice, but the new one takes it to the next level. What I don’t like is: the tamper seems to be made out of hollow plastic. I’m not sure how well it will hold up. This version doesn’t offer the individual to go mixing tumbler that is available with the pro 5200. I like the added convenience of mixing a smoothie in the same container you will drink it out of. This was almost a deal breaker for me, but the size of the machine was a bigger issue. I am not disappointed at all. The ease of use and consistency made it worth while.

While it’s on the pricier side, this blender/processor is worth every penny. It’s solid, powerful, and handles even the toughest tasks with ease. We’ve used it for everything from blending smoothies to processing ingredients for soups, and it has far exceeded our expectations. Making soup has never been easier—the consistency is perfect every time. Highly recommend if you’re tired of replacing blenders every couple of years—this one’s built to last!

Excelente product! It’s vitamix! Everything you could expect The only tiny thing I did not like was that the “use tamper icon “ doesn’t actually come up when really needed but just turns on dependeing on the setting

I add 2 cups of water to make my green juice with some fruit in it! I use the Smoothie button twice to get it smooth. I cleaned all parts easily in 3 minutes or less by hand washing it. I also put it in the dishwasher too and no problems. There is a display screen on this Vitamix. I like the preset buttons on this blender and the option to do it manually yourself. Using the push down stick that comes with it, is necessary for a good blend.

What is there to say. It is a Vitamix. And my humble opinion the best there is. I bought the four instead of the five because I really didn’t need all the extra programming. Knowing what I know now I probably would’ve bought one without any pre-program. I use it mostly for shakes and now do it manually. The shake setting creates a lot of noise for my wife and I early in the morning. It replaced a Nutra bullet. Which I used for years, but the gasket kept coming out and it was just a pain to put back in. The Vitamix is much larger, but does a whole lot more things. Would highly recommend if you want one that will last a very long time.

I received the Vitamix Ascent X4 Blender yesterday, and it has already made a huge impression! My wife is so happy with it, and we’re both impressed with how well it works. It blends everything smoothly and efficiently, just as advertised. The 48-ounce container is perfect for our needs, and the self-cleaning feature is a great bonus—it’s so easy to use. The motor base top portion on which the jar is rest is uneven causing the jar to wobble. I kept the jar on the kitchen counter and it does not wobble. Poor quality for the price. Also, there is no personal blender jar attachment yet supported. They need to get their Quality act straight. Rather than being superficial, focus on quality craftsmanship and customer first, and introduce options of jars to go along with Ascent and Ascent X series

Fantastic! Nothing like a Vitamix. . This is an upgrade from an older model that was still working. Highly recommend!

This is the best blender I’ve ever had. But it better be for $1000. Pretty quiet as far as blenders go. Just don’t tell the wife how much you paid for it.

Best appliance and now the most used appliance in my house. Smoothies are daily for my husband and I. We LOVE them and I LOVE my Vitamix!
