I first bought Homeoplasmine at the recommendation of my dermatologist. And a tiny dab goes a long way. She recommended that I spread a tiny amount to my palms, then just press and hold my hands to my face and let it soak in. She was spot on. That technique worked wonders and minimized the amount I needed to use. You can use this in any topical application that calls for Vaseline or other moisturizer, and this stuff is much better.

"Magic Cream" is what it truly is. Initially, I thought it was going to be a glorified Vaseline type product and, in a way, it is, but it's more than that.PROS:-- Thicker than p.jelly. It felt as if it were at least twice as thick (and maybe a bit more).-- This is not as visibly greasy or greasy-feeling as is pet jelly.-- After the product absorbs (I really noticed this when using it on my lips), the moisture & softness remains for a LONG time. I am someone who tends to lick my lips and dry them out. This cream STILL helped keep them moisturized.-- Absorbs (so it's like a p. jelly that acts a bit like a lotion)-- Creates a noticeable barrier. After washing my hands, this locked in the moisture without being irritating.-- No odor at all-- Was non-irritating to my face when I applied it on an especially dry day. (I probably will only use it on my face when weather is crazy dry, but I wanted to see how it worked.)I also like that the tube was foil sealed & the product contained additional information. (It was easy to translate using an camera app.)Mainly, what impressed me enough to get a Subscribe & Save on this is the way it soothed my dry, chapped lips. The effects lasted for hours - literally & I didn't have to keep reapplying it over and over. It might seem pricey on the surface, but because the effects are so good and do last, it's completely worth it - even on my tiny budget.

even though it is not the french metal bottle, but works just as well, i'm impressed to see my rash on my middle finger from scratching, inflammation, to almost wanting to rip off my finger, to healing slowly within a week! i got a chance to use the French metal bottle once, i thought it was better, it felt more condensed and thicker, but you can't beat it for $15 on amazon for a quick fix!

This ointment is very thick; a little goes a long way. It softens rough spots very nicely, but must be reapplied several times per day. I understand the need in areas that become moist, but not in dry. I do like the consistency of it and the fact that it is unscented. I suppose it's worth the cost since the tube lasts a very long time.

This product is devine!! You need such a small amount and it makes my lips so extremely soft. I came across it in posts to get rid of pimples along my lip line and it HAS!! I haven't had a single one since I've started using this!!! My lips are moisturized, smooth, soft, don't get chapped as easily in between, no pimples, and it doesn't give the rebound dryness that some products do

Great product! Good for dry skin and irritations. Heals chapped lips and dry cuticles. Highly recommend- formerly available only in Europe. So happy I can order it from Amazon!

I have roughness and hard, dry skin around my jawline, and my lips are also affected. I've been using Aquaphor on my lips and a strong hydrocortisone prescription on the eczema dry areas. I thought this would be a good replacement and much safer, but it's not working very well. I've used it now for several days, but I still have that really dry skin around my chin and jaw. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

Great lip care ever, my son lips have improved right after we used it, also good to apply anywhere you have skin problems under the nose when the skin irritated after cold, you can also use it on any clean scratch or cut to protect the skin.
