Worked great on my truck for 4,000 miles and still going!

I used it for my Nissan Altima. The glue dries quickly and after a week of installation everything is still holding. I recommend this product.

Let me start off by saying it is a quality rubber boot and the adhesive bonds the seam very nicely. Once the he glue is dry I don’t think you would be able to pull the seam apart without tearing the boot in a different area (seam is stronger than the boot itself). Now the manufacturer gives you approximate sizes that your boot will fit, my cv joint is 94mm so I purchased the boot that fits 90-110mm cv joints. There is too much excess material to snug up and get a secure attachment with the bands supplied by the manufacturer. The lip of the boot would get into the grove of the cv joint but it was impossible to get the pull style band tight enough to keep it securely in place. The first time the steering wheel was turned it would have popped right off. I wound up having to purchase a few different style bands to finally get it to seal properly. In hindsight I wish I would’ve ordered the smaller boot (smaller boot is up to 89mm) and tried to stretch it over the cv joint as it was only a few mm difference.

The boot and glue held great, installation wasn't bad except these damn clamps don't hold at all and I'm back to square one now. Real shame as I thought I found the answer.

Does not fit F-150 outer CV axle end. Top (small) end of the boot does not even fit around the axle.

I was NOT looking forward to removing my front axle to replace a split CV boot. I saw the Easyboot Split CV Repair Boot and decided to give it a go, I am so glad I did. The Easyboot Company has done a wonderful job with the interlocking seam and the overall quality of the CV boot in the Kit. I used a strip of masking tape to keep the interlock joint grease free while I installed the new CV Grease and then used the supplied glue to seal the Clean interlocking joint after removing the tape. This is the first CV boot that I have replaced with the axle still in the vehicle, it by far the easiest CV repair that I have done. Easyboot supplied the new CV Grease and both Stainless Steel Zip Ties in the kit, the only item I ordered with the kit was a Ten Dollar Banding tool that would work in tight spaces to tighten the Stainless Bands. I gave the Easyboot Split CV Repair Boot a Full Five Stars Across the Board. The CV Boot Kit is Complete, Easy to Use, Very Affordable, Durable, Reliable, And it saves a ton of $$$ and Time when compared to removing the Axle & Hub with all of the complications that that involves to replace a broken CV Boot.

It was easy to install but it did not fit the shaft of our 2014 Nissan Rogue Select. The OEM shaft has three grooves that the Easyboot does not cover. I had to get a boot from a different company.

Fait le travail, mais plus difficile à mettre en oeuvre qu'annoncé : faute de place in situ (VW Passat), j'ai dû effectuer le collage en 2 phases et non d'un seul jet. Durabilité dans le temps non éprouvée, évidemment.

Con una cuffia tradizionale avrei smontato il semiasse, con questa no! Tutto il kit è di ottima qualità. Montato su Ford Escort 97 (scegliendo la misura da 80). Consiglio di non adottare le fascette nel Kit e di utilizzare quelle per cuffie a stringere con pinze, garantendo la tenuta senza perdere il grasso; in questo caso andrebbe rimossa soltanto la ruota.
