Works well as a battery tester for a reasonable price.
I have an OTC SABRE-HP 3167 since 2004 that still works flawlessly with high accuracy, but it lacks EFB-(Enhanced Flooded Battery) capability so the readings are skewed for that test. So, i recently tried the Topdon BlueTooth version with EFB but found it to cumbersome for a quick results device. That led me to the Foxwell (non blutooth) but 6’ long reach corded (less deviation) device with EFB & bonus of ohms (internal resistance). Found it to operate quickly (IMO) and accurate to 1/2 volt +\- from my OTC. The cranking & charging was also within that range (followed up all readings with my digital meter to confirm both devices were in acceptable range)! I recommend this device as long as you dont need battery backup to recall previous readings. RH-Tx

Great little capable unit
I work at an auto parts chain store and regularly test customer’s vehicle batteries. The instruments we have cost $400 to $600. The performance of this little unit compares favorably with those expensive units. As I have several vehicles, a motorcycle, a 4 wheeler and a generator, there are a lot of batteries to take into the store to check their health. Testing at home saves a lot of time and hassle. I only buy a new battery when it does not recover performance after giving it a full charge cycle. If you are on the fence, jump off and buy this one. It works very well for me. Oh, and use the low amperage battery maintainers on batteries that sit unused for a few weeks or longer. Keeping those lead acid batteries fully charged gives me 6 to 8 years of service, saving me plenty of money. YMMV

Good 12-volt battery tester
Pretty good tester, but don't let the advertisement lead you to believe that it will test a 6-volt battery -- it won't. This is only for 12-volt batteries. I didn't give it five stars because the interface has Chinese English, meaning the translations are often horrible and leave you to wonder what it means. For example, "Whether not used after charging?" and you're to answer Yes or No.It needs to be connected to a battery to operate meaning it doesn't have its own power source. It comes with a case, so you don't need to buy one.

Great Device!
Accurate & user friendly. I have several vehicle and boat batteries which makes this device a must-have. It takes the guess work out of the condition and life of my batteries.
