Versatile Heating Pad

I absolutely love this product and will definitely buy another in the near future. This little blessing arrived today and I heated it up right after work and placed it on my neck and wow! It fits perfect and so comfortable plus smells amazing. It hits all my trouble areas on my neck and back of my head. I have gotten others that were either too skinny or to long and sometimes too stuffed so it was stiff and uncomfortable. This one is perfect and smells amazing. I suffer from oppcipital migraines and my neck is so sore and stiff all the time. I heat mine up for 1 minute total on a dish. What i do is shake it a little after 30 seconds then place back in for the remaining 30 seconds and it's perfect. Stays hot just long enough. It's been my experience to do this whenever I heat up rice bags just to be on the safe side and to avoid burning them. Flax seed can burn quicker then rice which is another reason to shake it after 30 minutes. Be sure to check it through out the heating process. Im so glad this has flax seed because it helps the rice bag stay warm longer and is soft, the rice makes the bag heavy enough for comfort like the weighted blanket concept. Having the combination is a bonus, plus lavender flowers, HEAVEN! I am very greatful I found your wonderful product. Thank you so very much for this perfect combination! This has been a true helper for me for any shoulder, neck, and even lower back pain. It heats up quickly in the microwave and holds heat for a pretty long time. The only flaw I have is the waffle knit fabric on one side. It can get a little itchy and sometimes leaves an imprint on my skin.

I love this heating pad. Works good for chronic neck pain (herniated discs), but I use it primarily as a bed-warmer on cold nights before I get into bed and then all night as I sleep to drape across my torso (if on my back) or my side (if on my side), and it keeps me super toasty all night. I'm back after about a year, because I'm buying a second one to place under the covers near my feet at night. The first one is still heating up and holding heat fine and in good condition. Right before buying the first one, though, the other brand pad (I don't recall which brand) I had before actually burst into flames in my microwave, so I was very afraid to buy another microwaveable heating pad (it didn't help that I was already previously pyro-phobic!), and it seems like I read a zillion reviews before buying this one. But I'm happy to leave this 5-star review in case there are other people like me who have had a bad experience in the past with microwaveable heating pads. I feel safe using this particular heating pad and am very happy that it's still for sale so that I can buy another one.

This product is exactly what I was looking for it is soft, gets to a comfortable warmth in less than 2 minutes and is long enough to sit comfortable around my neck and shoulders. The handles on either side are also useful, however it would have been better had it been a single strand on either side so you could tie them together and be able to walk around while having the warmth to relax tense muscles. A simple hair clip is what I am using to make it work. The main reason I’m giving 4 stars is the scent. I ordered the lavender scented one and while the package says it is lavender scented I do not smell anything at all. But overall it is a great well made product.

I bought a different brand and it was full of clay beads that never got hot. This one got hot after 90 seconds in the microwave, warm moist heat, light soothing fragrance- so happy I bought this one!!

I’ve managed to strain my neck, and I keep sticking this guy in the microwave for 90 seconds max. It stays very hot (almost too hot at first) and perfectly soothes my upper back and neck area. My kids also like it for the lavender smell and the gentle amount of weight pressing on their shoulders. Definitely recommend. Would be a great gift for anyone.

It heats up well but the filling tends to separate to ends when placed over the shoulder. Aside from adding more filling I’m not sure what could be done about that. It still helps ease the pain in my shoulder.

I started using Bed Buddy brand about 20 years ago. Then found the wonderful Earth Therapeutics heating pads, which were the absolute best on the market for many years. They started manufacturing them with clay beads several years ago and if you read the reviews just about everyone that used them prior to that change agree that they are no longer worth purchasing. The clay beads stay warm for about 30 minutes, even if you cover it with a blanket. They also get hot spots and tend to burn holes in the fabric. I have been looking for a replacement for several years now, wasting money on products I hated. Then I saw this product that did not have clay beads and had a soft cover! It is the closest thing to Earth Therapeutics you will find. This stays warm for a few hours if it is under a blanket.I It is perfect for a sinus headache because it is packed tightly enough that I can put it across my forehead while laying down and the contents do not all fall to each side. I just wish this was also made in a horseshoe shape with a little less filling to put around the back of my neck when I go to bed. This one is too stiff for that purpose. Also, a removable cover would be great so it could be washed.

Great wheat bag. I cannot sleep without wheatbags, and they have to be a high quality as i use them so much. These are perfect. Strong seams, nice fabric, great straps on ends so can tie them on if needed. Coped with being heated many many times a day (sometimes more than 10). Will stock up in case they run out!

I had the worst Torticollis I had ever had. Usually it would pass in a day or so but this just got worse. Dr rather reluctantly prescribed muscle relaxants and painkillers but they only took the edge off. This item brought my sanity back. I went for the unscented one but still you can smell the grain inside and that smell is great! The heat is just right, my only criticism, which is minor, is it doesn't last as long as I would like. But yes, it has instructions how to top the heat up. It eased the pain so I could then start moving the neck and normality was resumed :-)

I can't believe how well this is made. It wraps around your neck perfectly, with secure velcro so you can walk around with it. Wonderful product! I bought one for my mother aswell.
