Great CPU for a great price!I'm mainly using this to feed 2 graphics cards, for my mobile folding machine.It works great under Linux.A low profile cooler keeps it just under 69C (75C in worst case scenario, when the case gets really hot, and outside cooling is bad).Used a passive cooler before as well, but that one got the CPU up to 79C.Since I don't use it for gaming, the CPU does just what I want it to do.It offers PCIE 16x lanes, 3+ GHz, 2 cores, <65Watts system power....

Bought this to get a new z390 system up and running, windows games and updates, while I wait on my 9900K to arrive. Good enough for that job but as indicated in another review for just a few dollars more you can have a much more capable system that would run games OK at 1080p. This CPU will bottleneck just about any graphics card you would pair it with, thus not a good budget gaming part at all.

This CPU is very underrated for how it preforms, i played CS GO with a RX 560 as the GPU and it runs the game very great to low to medium maybe a little high settings. I don't recommend this CPU for any video editing or any games that needs powerful CPU.

Great price for an older model cpu. If you plan on gaming or anything like that I would not recommend this. But for a small server it’s great and can handle the load.

If you need to update the BIOS on your motherboard to be compatible with a 9th gen intel CPU, use this. Its the cheapest CPU you can get for this process. It worked great and I will keep it just in case. Other than that, this is a VERY basic processor.

I bought this cpu to replace my old i5 3340 because it consumes too much power. it is just as fast as the i5 in most applications, but it no where nears as fast for games. I still using my i5 3340 for games, but until Call of Duty comes out I am going to be using this cpu for my daily computational tasks.

I’ve had older gen slower Celerons that perform better than this CPU. This thing takes forever to boot a bare bones Linux distro. You can find much better 8th gen CPU’s at around the same price, get one of those. Anything but this.
