So far so good, tbh I’ve only left this a couple of months until leaving the review but so far I’ve no problems.As you will see from the photos, we fitted new doors, skirtings and facings all round our house. Within months the knot bleed started showing through in every room. It’s taken time but it’s finally all coming together now.As you can see from the second photo, ronseal knot block has been a god send. So far it has taken all the knots away. Easy application and dries well. No problems at all.I will say, from reading up lots before it everyone said sand all the facings and strip it right back then start again.I have a good friend who has ran his own business for years and used this for years, he recommended just giving the knots themselves a very light sand then just paint over. He guarantees this will work the same. As already said so far so good.Will update if any problems

Took a gamble on this before and it did exactly as it says on the tin. Kept painting door frames to see the yellow staining appearing from the knots again and again. One coat of this then gloss and job done. 3 years later and still as good as new. They also do a tough gloss which is a match made in heaven, stays perfectly white for years.

Tried it on wood without knott block and with knott block. Overall you still need to Knott Block before painting. It does give slightly more cover than 2x other water based Primer/Undercoat, but a minimum of 2/3 base coats is required at which point it's not much better than other brands. Easy to apply and fairly easy to clean brushes. Short drying time

When I opened the box the tin was inside a plastic bag. The paint had spilt and the bag was half full of paint. Got to return it for a refund, so apologies to any post office staff that will have to send this back. Lesson learnt, I won't order paint online again.

Had brown knot stains showing through gloss paint on new door frames and skirting where previous knotting compound had failed to work.Be sure to follow instructions.. sanded down old gloss a bit to get a good key. In places back to the knots, but not always. Two coats of this then new gloss on top.Worked a treat and covered/stuck well. No sign of knots 2 months later.

The tin of paint arrived burst but had no problem getting a refund, second one arrived fine. Only packed in a box with a bit of paper around it, needs bubble wrap to give better protection. Product itself is great as no need to go over knots with knotting fluid.
