I don't know why this product has a 3.5 rating. It's a high end screen protector and yes you'll have a few bubbles after application but you can easily push them out with the cloth. I just applied this (remember to wait for 30 seconds after you pull the tab) and it came out well besides the few air bubbles I pushed out. You can't even tell there's a screen protector on the phone.

I purchased this after reading several positive reviews about the screen protectors good quality (protection, scratch resistance, and clarity). Initially, I was pleased to see clear instructions (with a QR code linking to a video for extra certainty), a good quality cloth, and large dust sticker in the box (more than big enough to cover the entire phone screen so all dust can be removed in one go). I was hopeful about the application tool - which was one of the reasons I purchased this - but that hope soon turned to disappointment when I found that the application process had failed! Despite following the instructions and using the applicator as intended, the protector didn’t stick to my phone screen. I was left with no other option - I had to fit it manually. As you can imagine this was a tricky process. While I was able to remove most of the large bubbles the process created, I’ve been less with several micro bubbles that simply won’t shift. Given the price of this compared to other screen protectors, I’d have expected the application aid and process to be much better. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

Fantastic screen protector and the simplicity of fitting was amazing with the easy align system included in the pack. I suggest watching Belkin's video on You Tube for applying the protector as well as reading the pack instructions. I did find a couple of videos not produced by Belkin which actually gave some incorrect instruction on fitting the protector so make sure you watch the Belkin video. I did end up with some bubbles underneath the protector however by following Belkin's instructions to smooth any bubbles out to the closest edge I eventually got rid of all bubbles without having to lift the screen protector. It took a while maybe 30 minutes but patience and a little time has given me a perfectly positioned, clear protector on my iPhone. The touch screen works just as well as it did without the Belkin protector. An added plus is the protector is slightly cheaper on Amazon compared to Apple's website. I have tried cheaper screen protectors in the past but always ended up with cracks or chips so now my first choice is always Belkin.

Good product but overpriced

I’ve generally had very good experiences with Belkin products, which makes this all the more disappointing. This screen protector is, frankly, a miss. You do get two protectors in the box, but that feels less like generosity and more like an admission of how difficult they are to install. In my case, both protectors were already damaged straight out of the packaging - one chipped at the top above the earpiece, the other with damage in the lower-left corner. Installation was frustrating, with an unreasonable amount of bubbles trapped under the glass. I did eventually manage to remove them all, but within a few hours a long streak of air reappeared along the entire edge of the display. Once that happens, it’s impossible to ignore and completely defeats the purpose of a “premium” screen protector. After the streak of air appeared along the edge of the first protector, I removed it and fitted the second. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. For the avoidance of doubt: the screen was cleaned thoroughly, wiped down properly, and checked carefully for dust using the supplied sticker before installation. The effort was meticulous, yet entirely in vain. I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this product falls well below the standard I expect from Belkin. Use with caution - or better yet, look elsewhere.

Okay, let’s address the bubbles and application process (iPhone 17 Pro Max). It’s really not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. The application could definitely be better, but at this price I think it’s worth the small effort if you’re willing to work with it. HERE’S HOW I GOT A BUBBLE FREE APPLICATION: after following the tutorial video, if you still see bubbles, gently lift the screen protector from the edge closest to them using a fingernail or something thin. Lift just enough for the bubbles to disappear, then slowly lower the protector again while pushing the air toward the edge of the screen. Doing this removed every bubble for me. Now for the protector itself: I’ve used it while travelling and in daily use for a couple of weeks. I’ve dropped my phone more than once and kept it near keys, and there isn’t a single scratch or crack. It seems to live up to Belkin’s claims. It’s extremely thin, very clear and very touch-sensitive. If you’re used to thicker protectors, this feels much nicer. My only small downside is that it isn’t fully edge-to-edge, though it does fit neatly up to the bezel. You could even argue that this helps with durability and avoids lifting. Reasons to buy: thin, durable, almost invisible once applied. Reasons not to buy: if you’re not comfortable adjusting the protector during application as described above. Personally, it’s a tiny bit of extra effort for what I think is a near-perfect screen protector.

Unfortunately after only two weeks I can see lots of cracks in the screen protector. Even the cheap ones are much more durable. Such a shame. Support was unhelpful and unwilling to be reasoned with. Stay away from this one.
