Fish Florida Saltwater

Well written and organized handbook for anyone who wants to learn about gulf coast fishing. Detailed species guides, bait and rigging guides, plus coastal maps showing where to go for success are unique. I started reading Field and Stream 50 years ago and this is best material I've seen on saltwater or fresh.

Good information for a fisherman friend who is moving to Florida. I just wish the drawings and photos were in color and not black and white. Contents do not match the great cover.

I loved this book because of its thoroughness. I feel as though I could go to Florida and catch many fish and not be without proper equipment, technique and knowledge about the fish I'm after.

He's become obsessed with saltwater fishing since he moved to Florida. While I've lived here for 13 years and I love to fish, I'm not obsessed and didn't know the answers to most of his questions. He would get irritated when I told him to Google it (lol) so these are perfect. They haven't left his bedside table. I'm sure I need to get protective stuff cos I know he's gonna take them fishing.

I will be very honest, I have seen better books about fishing Florida waters (like the ones from Sport Fish of Florida...with some few exceptions). The black and white drawings do not help much in terms of identifying the specie, they are just ok. I would like to see information regarding eatability, but there is none, I read it nevertheless got some hint and tips.

I purchased this book for my first salt water fishing experience. It was fantastic. I loved the layout, the information was great--and it was very handy to have on the boat. I highly recommend this boat.

Covers the subject very well. Does not omit fly fishing as some sea fishing books do. Good hints on playing and landing.

Eine unausweichliche Lektüre für Leute die in Florida fischen gehen wollen. Die Illustrationen sind nicht besonders, jedoch die Infos sind sehr detailliert und hilfreich gewesen. Schonmaße, Schonzeiten und Fangtechniken sind genau beschrieben und trotzdem für jemanden mit Schulenglischkenntnissen gut zu verstehen.
