Ring 4 - Silver - Size 8 - Size Before You Buy

I am so glad I decided to invest in the Oura ring. It has really given me great insight into my sleeping patterns and the quality of my sleep. I have mild sleep apnea and I haven't been able to use my APAP machine because it causes me severe dryness. Based on the nightly results, I can see that my sleep has improved significantly. I got the ring fitting kit and ordered based on the size of the fitting kit. The ring fits perfectly. It was easy to set up and the app is user friendly. I got the shiny silver one. I would've preferred a different color, but this was the cheapest option. I would definitely buy an Oura ring again.

I don't like wearing wrist watches, so having a smart ring is PERFECT for me! I love how durable it is, it's easy to clean, and the app that comes with it is GREAT! The tracking on this thing is flawless and it uses light sensors to track my vitals, so it doesn't even feel like a smart device, just a regular ring! It also charges very quickly, so if I'm using the bathroom or taking a shower at home, I just pop it on the charger for 10-15 minutes and it's good for a few days! I only do it daily just to establish a good routine, and I have forgotten before and let the battery get low, but still haven't had the power die on me yet! I can see it being an issue for lifting weights since it's coated in stainless still and a little bulky, but otherwise very comfortable for other forms of exercise! I can also see it being a problem because of the red and green light sensors at night, it might be disruptive to light sleepers in a dark room, but I just keep my hands under my blankets or pillows, and I sleep just fine! It doesn't light up all the time, just periodically throughout the night. If the tiny lights at night might bother you, you can probably put a thick sock or a glove over your hand at night to block the light. I'm personally not inconvenienced by it at night, and I like that I can't feel anything when it checks my vitals (heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature, just to name a few). I wound up subscribing to the app anually because I really liked how easy it was to set up and how thorough its analysis was for my overall health. UPDATE: Recently I noticed the ring was draining too fast between charges and I actually needed to charge it everyday! I reached out to customer service via the app, they asked a few questions, and shipped me another one immediately! It was refurbished, not brand new, but it works like new and I would never have known the difference if they didn't tell me! I keep the old one as a backup just in case since they said I don't need to send it back. I basically haven't stopped wearing the Oura ring since I put it on, and I've used it on long walks, swimming (fully submerged in water), and for general daily activities and it works great! I wash it with soap and water when I wash my hands and take it off to give it an.wxtra good wipe down before popping it on the charger or putting it back on!

If I had known it would cost me over $500 to learn these lessons, of course I would not have bought this. It's 1 star on purpose - keep reading. So first of all, honestly, it works amazingly well - if you need it. Numbers come through accurate and complete on so many levels. It's a much smarter location than the wrist. Oh, but be careful about charging - it says 3 days, uh no. Charge it daily as their own documentation says within the app. Yes, that's what THEY tell you to do. Here's the reason for the 1 star: Buying from Amazon. Oura will support their rings for a year or more (I think). Amazon has a 30 day policy and per Oura's web site, if you buy from a 3rd party, their standard coverage is 90 days from Oura. My ring worked flawlessly for 11 months, and then poof - stopped. I contacted Oura who said "yeah, that qualifies for a replacement - who'd you buy it from? Not us you say?" Since it came from Amazon, we had to work with AMAZON return policies, not Oura. To make matters worse, the renewal time on the annual software contract didn't have a warning and renewed AFTER the ring was dead for the NEXT year (remember: broken ring?). When I contacted support (sort of - read on) to see if we could get it back - nope. So 2 years at $75/yr + $365 = $515. Pretty expensive for 11 months! Now we need to talk about support. I, like you, read the reviews of people getting replacements. Well, maybe that WAS the case - before. Now, they're so short staffed on support you can't talk to a live person - period. Chat responded quickly, but has no rights to refund or return or do anything. So you can set an appointment - oh, but there ARE no appointments. So you can call the return number on the order - oh, except the return number is a looped message telling you to go online. In other words - no support at ALL now. So here's my advice. First, if you buy from Amazon, you'd better purchase their warrantee. There's a very high risk that Oura will not help you. Even their own web site says their warranty is only 90 days - so you've been warned. If you buy from them, be ready not to be able to reach anyone if you have problems. Good luck to you. I love my oura ring. I use it mostly for sleep tracking, and it is really useful. It has helped me pay attention to my body and its sleep needs. The craziest thing it does is tell me I’m getting sick days before I feel it. It recently told me my body was showing symptoms of strain and then a few days later I got very sick. It turned out to be Covid. Since having Covid it’s showing me that my heart rate is not recovering as quickly as I would like, so I plan to discuss with my doctor how I can manage this. I also prefer the step tracking on this compared to my Apple Watch because I have this on always and might go a good while in the am or even after a shower before putting my watch back on. As far as looks go, I’m happy with the silver. I had rose gold in the oura ring 3 and it did not hold up well at all. I’ve used stacker rings to dress it up at times, but I barely care anymore as it looks like real jewelry as it is.?

Ich weiß dass es einige Stimmen gibt die sagen...waas? Ich brauche auch noch ein Abo um vollständige Insights zu erhalten?! Aber man kauft sich ja auch keinen Ferrari und hat dann kein Geld mehr für Benzin 😉 und genau das ist dieser Ring meiner Ansicht nach...der Ferrari unter den Fitness und Gesundheits Gadgets. Wenn man sonst keine Ringe trägt braucht man vielleicht zwei Tage zum Gewöhnen. Ich hatte bis jetzt schon einige Fitness Tracker und was mich in der letzten Zeit immer mehr gestört hat ist dieser gewisse Druck die Ringe voll zu kriegen, das Bewegungsziel, das Kalorienziel ja sogar ein Schlafziel. Das ist bei dem Oura Ring viel entspannter und auch viel mehr auf einen persönlich kalibriert. Es ist völlig normal das man Nachts mal aufwacht, aber bei Huawei ist das immer ein Riesen Drama, laut der App Empfehlung. Die Oura Ring App gibt sehr viele Personen Bezogene Empfehlungen bezüglich deiner Gesundheit und deines Wohlbefinden. Hinzu kommt noch das ja mittlerweile jeder Horst eine SmartWatch trägt und plus die ganzen Benachrichtigungen die den ganzen Tag reinflattern. Ich kann jetzt wieder meine ganzen normalen Uhren tragen die um Längen besser aussehen als jede SmartWatch. Ich bin total begeistert und überzeugt von Oura.

I’ve been using the Oura Ring for a short time now and so far I like it. I have a size 8, which works well and gives me the flexibility to change fingers depending on comfort, which I really appreciate.
