Easy to use great buy!
Love love love get asked about this often! My son is nonverbal and we wanted to start some ACC training before he got this device! We loved it! It was easy for him to understand love we can change some of the buttons to the words we were working on! We would take to speech and OT and therapist loved it and always got asked about! Was such a great buy highly recommend! Our son was able to easily used at only 2!

Helpful for those that struggle with standard AAC devices
These have been wonderful for my level 2 ASD non-verbal 6 year old son. He has a standard AAC device which is an iPad with LAMP, but was struggling with the complexity of using it (going through multiple screens just to say yes, no etc). These devices are scaled down to the essentials with fun colorful icons that he enjoys using. His ABA therapist loved it so much that she bought some for the facility to use! I plan on buying more since they have other devices with the same layout but different phrases/buttons.

Intro to communication
We used this for our autistic daughter before she got her aac device. It was nice to have to introduce a communication device to her.

Great for Purchase for Teachers of Nonverbal Students
Inexpensive yet effective way to help my nonverbal student communicate while we wait for the process to get a device through the school district.

It’s a good start, but…
This mini-AAC is a great way to introduce your speech delayed child to AAC devices. It has a couple of features that I don’t like. 1. The speaker has an English accent and you can’t change it. If you’re buying this for an adult, that’s not a big deal. But if you are buying this for a speech delayed child, this can confuse them. 2. There is no volume control and it’s pretty loud. My kid didn’t want to use it for a few weeks because it set off his sound sensitivity. 3. My toddler accidentally re-records the personalized buttons all the time because there is no way to lock them from being edited.

Disappointed
Very disappointed. Voice is a British accent which is very confusing for an autistic child who is already having problems understanding. Returned it today.
