Misleading
The book sucks. A book titled "The Art of Lying", with calligraphy scribbled across it, instantly brings thoughts of Sun Tzu The Art of War. This book has none of the quality and splendor of the war gods ancient text. It gives short stories on lying to ones spouse and how it is lying. Instead of reading this book, go watch Jerry Springer and you will get the same feel.

the book did not stick with the point and wasn't enough of a practical guide to help oneself in day to day situations - wasn't for me particularly but i'm sure others may like it bc it does on the other hand offer some insight

According to this book one should lie once a day for one's psychological health. So long Pinocchio!

Intersting
This book has an interesting perspective on lies. As humans, on many occasions, full access to all the information in a situation/relationship can produce unnecessary stress. This books reminds us that truth may make us free, but ignorance is, perhaps more than it should be, bliss.
