Great flashlight, good sales, bundle, edc.
I originally purchased the tac aa from acebeam and then this was the next step. While I generally love the compact "tactical" style edc that fits right in your hand with the tac aa, the tac 2aa was a massive improvement. Some complain about the ui being too much to think about, and while these kind of products are typically advertised in the theme of being tactical, I think it goes without saying for the more commonly sensed etc tool community that a real tactical light would be optimized for simplicity and durability, hence reliability.Yet what this flashlight is and does is just fine and even fun for the more fidget happy, or anyone willing to practice with what they use, maybe that bit of mental exercise can be a plus. It's more of a flooder than a thrower, which, at uts brightness levels is just right for anything from searching a drawer at night in moonlight mode to lighting up a path just around you on high, while still having enough power to stun an oncoming threat should you need at turbo and strobe, although that last part should be delegated to more dedicated "tactical" throwers. The flashlight has two ui modes, one with the more well rounded full use, the other being the "tactical" one where the tail switch defaults to turbo first.I love the button led power/idle indicator.I only wish the knurling would cover a greater majority of the tube, but it has just enough to cigar hold or pinch it, and overall it's still a really textured flashlight with all of the grooves.Acebeam has sales here on Amazon quite frequently, so my recommendation would be to grab yourself a tac aa and a tac 2aa bundle if you should see them both on sale, these two flashlights will give the average person everything they need.

Acebeam TAC 2AA 5-Month Review
This was my first tactical flashlight purchase, and I couldn’t be happier. The brightness is incredible and the user interface is easy once you get the hang of it. With light everyday use, I can easily go weeks without charging it. I carry this around with me every day and the size is perfect for that. I’ve dropped it a few times already, but this flashlight is still kicking and is definitely well-made.Some cons, but not deal breakers:1. I wish there was an intermediate battery indicator light mode when the flashlight is above a 30% charge. It would help me know more accurately what the battery charge is at, but for the price point I can’t complain. I don’t need to charge it frequently as it is.2. In my opinion, the flashlight is too heavy to be used on the visor of a ball cap. When I tried it out on a white ball cap, it left a black residue that was hard to remove. So if you do try this out, watch out for that.3. Not a con, but the QR code on the side of the flashlight doesn’t lead to anything (this was after many attempts to get my phone to even recognize the QR code).Overall, this flashlight is an exceptionally good value and I definitely recommend it.

Strong product, great price, has standby mode
Two important things to know are (1) How to swap it from "tactical mode" (as shipped) to EDC mode which will likely be more useful; and (2) How to get to moonlight mode, which is accessible from standby mode. Once you have mastered these - clearly explained in the manual - I think you will love this light. Standby mode not only conserves energy but helps you find the flashlight in the dark. I wish more lights had this standby feature. By the way the code on the top with the serial number is probably for the manufacturer and not a link to any website.

Hot!! But a good light for it to be 40 bucks cheaper than name brands. brands.
I carry a light of this size around and use daily. I was looking for a cheaper version of the streamlight protac 2aa due to damaging and loosing them. It's a good light twice as bright as the streamlight but the head is awfully hot after 30 seconds of run time. Not something I want to stick back in my pocket after a little run time. But all in all built with the same durability of the streamlight.

GREEN TN 6500K HD LED Max Output: 1600lms/181m/8190cd
REVIEW FOR : GREEN TN 6500K HD LED Max Output: 1600lms/181m/8190cdAs someone working in the automotive business this light has been great. Besides using it on cars I have started to use it around the house and it's been great. The Acebeam TAC 2AA is a durable and compact tactical flashlight, ideal for everyday carry and professional use. It features a robust aluminum build, I have a dropped it from up to 6 feet a few times and it continues to work. It provides a balanced beam for all my needs, and offers multiple lighting modes controlled by an intuitive dual-switch interface. While it has a shorter runtime on high mode, the rechargeable feature and its capability to use 2 AA batteries while still providing high output is amazing. Definitely a valuable and must have EDC tool or automotive flashlight.

Excellent Budget Light
The headline says it all... Lot of light for the money. The only possible "con" is the battery type, but it's not enough for me to subtract a star (if i decide to get a second battery, heck: I'll just buy a second light. Not much difference in price, truthfully). That's one of the reasons it's a budget light, right? That said, this is a very nice light with useful controls & plenty of output - hard to pass up...
