I replaced the broken 20-year old drain plug on one of my Hobie Pursuit kayaks (I have two). This is a perfect match to the old plug. Screws easily into the existing hole. I bought 2 more as spares. I haven’t water tested it yet, but the gasket seems secure.Thank you BackyardBoats for sending the correct plug. A different (non-Amazon) seller sent me the wrong plugs!

This was the item number that was listed for the plug that should fit the bilge drain for the Vagabond/Hobie/Holder 14.but it doesn't. The problem is that these boats are old enough, that either accurate information is not available, or someone who owned the boat before me already replaced the plug housing. Or, maybe the item number is not consistent across the three different manufacturers, and the information has just been assigned to all the boats.Either way, the plug did not fit my Vagabond 14. Which is not to say it is a bad plug; I'm just wishing I had bought the plug and housing kit, just in case. It wasn't that much more, and the housing is ridiculously easy to replace. and now I am going to order the housing to use with this plug.
