Not bad, not great.
Pretty good, not great. Some stories are better than others, but I'd recommend it to others.

A fantastic collection of Ripper stories to read in the Ten Bells pub
Having purchased Maxim Jakubowski's Mammoth Book of Jack The Ripper which told the many facts surrounding the mysterious identity of the notorious dark villain Jack the Ripper, who stalked the streets of London's Whitechapel during the autumn of 1888, slaying prostitutes in the most heinous manner, I was very keen to purchase his second book in the Mammoth series which concentrated on stories centred around the activities of the brutal murderer and his/her victims, as well as everyone else associated with the crimes at the time, including the writer of the Dear Boss letters, victims, possible identity of Jack and the diversity of settings including the fateful sailing of the Cunard liner, Titanic. The stories did not disappoint in any way. They revolved around the known facts and hypothesis as well as introducing ideas which give pause for thought. All the stories are of a manageable length without unnecessary padding and certainly invoke some thought afterwards. I highly recommend this book to Ripper enthusiasts as well as readers yet to be introduced to those dark, damp, dismal nights on the cobbled streets of poorly lit thoroughfares.
