Delivery was on time. Gave this to my Mum who loves Ginger wine but has never had special reserve. She loves it, says it's more mellow. Will be getting this again for her.

An interesting alternative to the classic Stone's.
This version of Stone's is stronger, sweeter and more syrupy. I recall trying it about 6-7 years ago and loving it and then wondering why it wasn't more widely available. I think my palate has changed a little as now I don't prefer it to the standard green label stuff, but it is an interesting change once in a while. The ultimate green ginger wine experience for me is simply the regular stuff with a fair tot of Spanish brandy (Torres 10) or an unpeated Scotch added. It's too sweet and lightweight otherwise.
