Another budget beast Sleipner steel and micarta super quality!!
This is a great knife with a thick spine and a sharp blade , Sleipner steel and micarta handles,I have the EF 151 as well and I prefer this because the handles are bigger and give me a better grip ,it will make a great fighting knife or self defense, and like my many other Eafangrow Sitivien and Lengren knives fit and finish are superb, flawless imo , highly recommend this knife 5 Stars !and it was a bargain, discounted so it came out to about $61 with tax! Might be the best deal I've ever gotten in such a high quality knife, the EF151 is pictured with this the one with black handles and curved blade

Thin tip
The tip of the blade is too thin. If I accidentally or on purpose whack the side of the tip of the knife blade against a piece of wood, I wouldn't be surprised if the tip snapped off. The knife blank is thick steel. Then, they grind off so much matal at the tip that it defeats the integrity, strength and ability of the knife so that it can't handle hard use such as mild prying. These Chinese knife makers don't understand how they should be designing survival, camp or bushcraft knives in order to function as such.

Great Multipurpose Large Knife
I like this model better than the 151, but only because of the blade profile as it nears the choil. This one to me is much better for doing camp chopping and processing wood. The Sleipner is well done in terms of sharpness and heat treatment, and it holds the edge well after taking some abuse that I would normally leave to a camp axe. Very good balance. The handle works better than some of their other models that have a larger flare towards the pommel, to me it is much more comfortable and less likely to cause hot spots. If you feel like you have less control just use a lanyard, but I felt no slipping on the back end even with heavy chopping motions - and this was with no lanyard.Very good sheath, nice grade of kydex with good retention and no rattle. They continue to rebrand themselves as a quality product with excellent value.
