what a ride!!!
Wow—what a ride!! This book had me hooked from the start, and I absolutely loved Millie and Enzo! 💕 Their relationship was everything, but Millie needed to trust Enzo more. Like, girl, he’s your husband, and you’re pregnant 🤰🏻—why are you keeping secrets from the one person who can protect you?! 😡The tension in this book was real. The mysterious phone calls had me on edge, especially when the caller knew creepy details, like the color of Millie’s dress and exactly when Enzo left the apartment. That was such a shocking moment! I kept wanting to scream at Millie to just tell Enzo what was going on. He knows people, and keeping secrets only put her in more danger.Despite that frustration, I loved how Enzo always came through. The ending was everything I wanted! 🥰 He proved time and time again that he would protect Millie, even from her awful parents. It was so satisfying to see things wrap up, though I still wish Millie had told him about the calls sooner, just to be sure it was the same guy from the bathroom. If there were a sequel, I’d just want pure happiness for them—no more suffering, no more secrets, just their well-deserved happily ever after. AHI!! Let them be at peace!

While the premise is gripping, the short story format left me wanting more
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Stars (Good)Setting: New York CityGenre: Short Story; ThrillerThe Housemaid’s Wedding offers a quick, suspenseful interlude in the twisted world of the Housemaid series. As always, Millie’s life is anything but simple—even on her wedding day. The tension builds from page one, with Freida McFadden’s signature blend of paranoia and plot twists that kept me turning pages. However, while. The pacing felt rushed, and the emotional weight of Millie’s relationship and the threat she faces didn’t have enough space to fully develop. Longtime fans of the series will enjoy revisiting Millie’s world and savoring the breadcrumbs of what’s to come in The Housemaid is Watching, but this story functions more as a bridge than a standalone thrill. If you’re a devoted follower of the Housemaid series, this quick read will scratch the itch between books. But if you’re looking for the deep twists and layered suspense McFadden is known for, you might find this installment a bit too fleeting. #thehousemaidswedding #booked_this_weekend

Novella
The Housemaids WeddingAuthor - Freida McFaddenGenre - ThrillerReading Method - KindleLength - 76 Pages⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This book is a winter themed short story meant to fill in the gap between book 2 of the housemaid series and book 3, or even after book 3. I decided to read this book in between, and I am so glad that I did. On the morning of Millie and Enzo’s wedding, Millie wakes up to a threatening phone call. Throughout the day, Millie keeps receiving these calls and it makes her nervous. However, Millie keeps these calls from Enzo as she doesn’t want them to ruin their special day.Reading other reviews on this book I was a little sad to see how much hate it got. My opinion was that this book was just the right length and it provided some closure on Millie and Enzo’s relationship. I would agree with the fact that it wasn’t your typical thriller and more of a romance novella. But nonetheless it was definitely a little something to give the readers who enjoyed reading about the character building and relationship forming between Enzo and Millie.

Loved it!
That was terrific! I am sorry Millie's parents decided not to come but I am glad Enzo told them off and took care of the stalker! They both deserved a beautiful wedding day idiot and crazy free!

Wanted More, Got Less
⭐️⭐️½ (2.5 stars)As a fan of The Housemaid series, I was excited to dive into The Housemaid’s Wedding 💍, hoping for more insight into Millie and Enzo’s relationship—how they got to their wedding day, the story of how she broke the news she was pregnant to Enzo, and more details about the women they helped. Unfortunately, this short story felt unnecessary and underwhelming. 😕It lacked the depth I was looking for, and instead of adding meaningful backstory, it felt rushed. I also wish we had seen Millie discover that Enzo knew someone was following them 👀—leaving that unresolved made the story feel incomplete. Overall, it didn’t add much to the series, and I could have done without it. 🤷🏻♀️

Just so-so
The short story presents a lukewarm reading experience that falls somewhere between mediocre and marginally interesting. For readers deeply invested in the interconnected narrative of the housemaids book series, this installment might offer some contextual value. However, for those seeking a standalone compelling read, the book may not be worth the time investment. The narrative lacks significant engagement, making it a optional selection that can be easily skipped without missing substantial literary content.

Awesome
You have to read this when you have time to do it in one sitting. I had to go back and reread some. But I'm glad we got to read about Millie and Enzo getting married.

“Short & Sweet”
The Housemaid’s Wedding is a short story that gives us a glimpse into Wilhelmina “Millie”Calloway and Enzo Accardi relationship & wedding 💒 ceremony. It was nice to read how much in love these two are, and how much they are meant for each other.
