Nice 3 in 1 model kit but perhaps too challenging for younger ages
This 3 in 1 construction kit comes at a fraction of the price that you would pay for a similar product from the Danish brand leader. In terms of size, looks and feel it appears very similar to the better-known product. The quality of the parts does feel slightly lower but is still more than fit for purpose in my opinion.Once the build is completed the model can transform, with no construction changes required, into three different forms and can be played with as a toy and/or put on display. If the child becomes bored with it, the model can be dismantled and its component parts used in free-style build. The box suggests that the kit is suitable for ages 8+. I am considerably older than that. However, despite a good, well-illustrated, step by step instruction booklet, I was still initially rather daunted by all of the bags containing a total of 1128, mostly small parts! So, I would suggest that this kit might be more suitable for kids at least a couple of years older than the suggested minimum age and who are already quite experienced in similar model building. I would expect anyone younger than that to need a fair amount of guidance and assistance from a parent or older sibling. However, this in itself might be an attraction for some as it would provide a fair amount of good quality, play together time.

Engaging and Fun 3-in-1 Building Set
This building kit brings a nostalgic twist to building blocks, allowing you to construct a robot, dinosaur, and fighter jet, each with its own character and appeal. With 1,128 pieces, this set promises a stimulating experience for fans of transforming models and brick-based construction. At around £39.99, it’s a bit more expensive than I’d expect for this size and quality, but it still delivers a lot of value for fans of creative, modular building toys. The ability to convert between the three modes without needing to dismantle the model is a definite highlight. This unique feature makes it especially enjoyable, as you can transition between each mode easily without the time-consuming rebuild usually needed in multi-form models. The pieces themselves are well-made for a non-LEGO brand, though they don't quite match LEGO’s exacting fit and durability. That said, they’re reliable, and the final build feels sturdy and holds its form well.Assembly-wise, the kit is intricate enough to keep adults and older children engaged. While the instructions are clear, younger children may need help due to the level of detail, but for more experienced builders, it’s a delightful challenge. The final product, standing 35cm in robot form, is impressive and makes for an attractive display piece in any of its forms. For collectors or fans of building kits, this set offers a rewarding, immersive experience. Though the price might feel a little steep, it’s a good value given the 3-in-1 functionality and display appeal. The set is well-suited for ages 10 and up and makes a wonderful gift for fans of classic robot designs or anyone looking to spend some quality time in creative construction.Pros: - Unique 3-in-1 design allowing easy conversion between modes - Clear instructions and engaging building process - Sturdy and suitable for display in all forms - Great for both older kids and adults who enjoy complex buildsCons: - Slightly pricey for the size and brand quality - Not compatible with LEGO, and parts aren’t as seamless in fit - Younger builders may need assistance due to intricate details

Cool set!
This is a brilliant 3 in 1 stem building kit which was great fun to build with our grandson. There are a huge amount of blocks which seemed daunting at first but once they were organised on the dining room table everything looked clearer. Searching for the pieces you need means that the set takes a while to build which is a good thing as sometimes children want things instantly and learning that quality takes time is a good life lesson! The instructions in the booklet were very easy to understand and follow. The blocks are well constructed and durable and similar in quality to lego.A great idea for a stocking filler for Christmas and beyond. Highly recommend. Everybody loves transformers!

Could be tricky for younger brick builders
Transformers... robots in disguise! (if you know, you know) meets Lego. This kit is made up of 1128 pieces and once complete makes a toy that is a robot, a dinosaur and fighter jet. Sometimes with brick sets you have to take one model apart to rebuild it to the new model but this toy 'tranforms' into each without having to be rebuilt. The parts all seem to be good quality and there are ample instructions. According to the box, this is a great STEM project. That's science, technology, engineering and mathematics, so your child is being educated and improving their skills as they complete this build! It is a little on the pricey side but a similar brand name kit would cost two or three times the price.Would make a great Christmas present for a lucky kid! Five out of five stars.

Great Building Set
This is a really cool 3 in 1 kit that offers hours of fun building and playing with for you and your child. The blocks are well made and decent quality, not as great as the leading brick brand but it holds its own.The instructions are clear, quite easy to follow and contained within a booklet printed on high quality paper. All models are easy to build, they just take time and require organising your bits as this kit does come with 1128 pieces there is a lot of hunting for the part you need.Great Fun
