Brilliant educational tool
This is a fun little way to learn about electronic security and how important it is to get it right. I do not do much in the way of pen testing but I have shown a couple of clients how easy it is to anonymously clone their credentials with this device and get into their building.. from this learning point of view it is excellent.

Great device for the price, as advertised as a complete kit, a screen protector would have been nice
Updated review. This item is so unstable. Once you update the factory firmware which it asks you to do, it constantly starts to crash and I mean crash repeatedly as in every few minutes and this is using the official apps. Also it was regularly telling me that factory apps would not have enough ram to work? Seriously, why build a product and an official app store when the apps from the store don't have enough ram to operate? I really wanted to enjoy this product and maybe I got a bad one but it's been a disaster On the plus side, it was very easy set up and easy to use when it was not crashing. To the developers, at least get the factory software releases stable enough to be able to use with the hardware ram. Yes we can use custom firmware but the product should not be requesting downloads of stable and public releases which are not compatible with the hardware. This was all from the public release and what was advised as stable. Very happy with the item, packaging and service was top class. As a learning tool it is quite fun if you are in to pen testing or ict in general. I will say that people who find it's not doing what they want possibly do not have the experience. Personally I am heavily involved in ict so it's a fun tool and very capable for the price. Tweaking the firmware is a must to release it's potential. I use it to pen test my own or company equipment and find it's very useful. Only reason I knocked off some stars is that, for the price, it would have been good to get at least one screen protector. Especially when it is advertised as a complete kit. The cost of adding a screen protector would have been minimal and would have made it complete. Do not use this as a prankster toy, this is not what it was designed for. Use only on your own or on equipment you have permission to test. Other than that, I was happy. Yes people may say it's expensive but if you want to use it for educational purposes it is worth the price.
