Fun for brick builders who want a unique Cyberpunk lit set!
The media could not be loaded. This Cyberpunk apartment building set is a great brick building experience, with a whole new level of integrated lighting for you to weave between. This set is in the traditional scale of Lego sets (although the minifigures are a bit different). What takes this above the Lego experience is the amazing lighting. I've had the experience of using third party lighting systems on Lego sets, and what makes them difficult is the Lego sets are not designed to accommodate the extra wiring. This set has some unique brick pieces that allow the wiring to pass through without affecting the sturdiness of the brick connections. The plastic tubing creates an amazing lighting affect around the edges of the building. The vending machine lighting is super neat too. Make sure to test the lights before progressing with the build, as the excellent instructions recommend. I did have one issue with two wires that weren't attached, but received the replacement from the company in a super quick and easy way. Stick through the build and you will get an amazing reward at the completion of it! There are details I couldn't capture enough of in the video, like the computer station. Lights are even cast from little unique spots such as the open sewer hatch. And the translucent neon signage is killer. The value for the cost versus what you would pay for a comparable Lego set without the lighting is well worth it. Plus, you can't get such an amazing Cyberpunk set from Lego. If you are an adult collector or looking to give a kid a rewarding challenge, I recommend getting this set! Check the video out for some of the amazing details and figures included.

A BARGAIN FOR A QUALITY BRICK BUILD! LIGHTS ARE AWESOME!!
The FUNWHOLE Cyberpunk Mansion may be the best set I've built! The quality of the bricks is on par with THE major brand out there. The design and build of the building is amazing! The lights that you see are all bright and very saturated. Have no worries about dim unseen neon lights. The bluish neon tubes are so cool! The way the lights are connected from one floor to another uses electronic panels that lay on top of each other so that when one floor is put on top of another the circuits connect and light up the above floor! It's genius! The structure itself looks like it's straight out of cyberpunk lore! Everything holds well together and is pretty simple to build. The instruction manual is SO well made. The colors of the pieces in the instructions match the actual pieces so it's easy to distinguish what parts to use. They even have top down views so you know exactly how to lay out the pieces. They even give you tools. A brick separator and metal tweezers to help plug in the little wires to their base. The minifies aren't what most people are used to, but honestly there is quality printing on them and they really fit the theme. Honestly though, I'll be adding other brand minifigures to populate the build as well.Funwhole is really trying to show the other brick companies how to make a super high quality product at a VERY reasonable price. All I can say is that if you're on the fence, don't be..it's a great product! I've also purchased the cyberpunk police build as well and it is just as great. I'll definitely be buying the rest of this theme.

Lego has competition
I've purchased a lot of knock-off bricks from aliexpress and the like, and there's usually a couple missing bricks, minor fitment issues in the moving parts, color discrepancies, or a malformed brick here and there. You're usually lucky to get paper instructions at all as the knockoffs prefer to make you download a PDF to save on shipping costs. And most knockoffs, if they include lighting, will have one strand of fairy lights you're expected to just kinda stuff in there.NONE OF THIS APPLIES TO FUNWHOLE. This set (brand) has:- lightmybrick-style LEDs and connectors included, with perfect length wires- custom edge-lit etched signs that provide a very impressive viewing experience- custom bricks with special channels for the wires to run through, to avoid pinching/accidentally cutting them while also concealing them in the construction- perfect clutch power, and the clip-and-bar connections don't move too freely or sag- zero missing or malformed pieces- no color issues I could see in normal household lighting- some interesting build techniques, especially impressed with the neon sign holders- Amazingly detailed, thick, full-color building manual that even includes pages about their design process and lore about the world they're trying to depictI was absolutely floored by the attention to detail that went into this, and it results in a gorgeous finished product and a decent building experience. The only criticism I have is that each "stage" of the construction is four or five bags of bricks, and they have 11 stages, so there's probably 50 bags when you first open the box, and trying to dig through 50 bags to find the five marked "1" at the beginning is tedious. It would go smoother if every bag had a unique number so you could be certain "I have all the bricks I need for the next stage" before resuming your build.I also noticed an electrical contact that goes nowhere on the edge of the foundation, and I REALLY hope it indicates plans to expand this theme in the future. I would love more cyberpunk styled buildings.TECHNICAL NOTE: While I compared the lights to "lightmybricks" style, I think the connectors are a different shape and not compatible with each other. However, the funwhole set is USB powered, and any non-battery LMB installations are USB as well, so it shouldn't be difficult to integrate into a lit city.

Honestly maybe even better than Lego
This set has an extremely high perceived value. The fit of the bricks is great, the instructions were clear, I did not have any major issues with bricks, and the light bricks look fantastic. One thing that did happen was I was “missing” a printed brick. The brick in question was still there, but it just didn’t have its printed design on the side. Overall I currently enjoy this brand more than Lego.
