they work okay...
I bought these to go with my dual pull out trash can unit. I got them to help keep the smell of the trash under control and to help keep the bags in place. I thought they snapped on, but they do not, they just sit on top of the cans. So I wasn't to pleased with that because if you lift them wrong they fall off. Also, with the dual rev-a-shelf unit, you cant lift the back one all the way because the shelf doesn't pull out far enough and the lid hits the countertop. I don't mind the lid hitting the counter top because it opens far enough I can squeeze stuff in, so I use the back can for paper and stuff that I am putting in with my hands and I use the front one for emptying plates. my main complaint is that they don't snap on, for the price that is what I was expecting. I wouldn't mind them just sitting on there if I hadn't paid so much for them.

It's A Piece of Plastic
Like the other reviews, I thought this would "snap" into the Rev-A-Shelf trash containers to secure the trash bag and seal the top of the trash can somewhat. However, it just lays on top of the trash can. and pulls off very easily if you pull on the lid too hard. It's just a piece of plastic that costs $15; probably cost all of $0.25 cents to make. What a rip.

Fits the bin, but that's about it
I like that the bins that came with our trash system have an actual top designed to fit them, but that's about all I can say about them. The tops don't clip or snap in place but merely "fit on top" so it will get dislodged super easily. I use the bins to store dog food and wanted a top to prevent the food from going stale (and keep the dog kibble smell contained). When I open the trap piece to access the food, the entire top doesn't fail to come off the bin and I have to position it back on. Not the "easy and sturdy" solution I was looking for!

Keeps the smells in. Not sure that's a good thing
We have an under sink trash can, and needed a lid to prevent moisture from getting into the cabinet area, or attracting pests in there. So it's great for that. But it's actually so good that it traps moisture too, so the lid is always a bit damp inside. And because it's so well closed, it can get quite funky in the trash can after just a couple of days. I guess this is a good thing, but where we used to get away with taking the trash out weekly, we really can't go more than a few days now before it becomes overwhelming when you open this lid. Overall mostly pleased - well made, though pricey for a lid that should just come with the can.

Too Expensive
The lid is fine, it's just stupid how expensive it is. It's just a couple pieces of plastic. I don't think there is even any metal in the hinges. It costs twice as much as it should.

Not worth $20
The lid fits well, and works well. But it's not worth an additional $20, especially for a garbage can that is already hidden in a cabinet and so is in less need of a lid. Actually, in some ways, having a lid is detrimental to the overall product as without the lid I can pull the garbage can out of the cabinet by hooking the bottom of the cabinet door with my foot and pulling it open with my leg and throw things away when I have my hands full of garbage or slimy from chopping food. The lid prevents this.In any case, I determined that I preferred to not have the lid, and that it certainly was not worth an additional $20. But the seller will charge $14 for return shipping, so I'll probably just keep it. Shrug.

Should be bundled with the garbage. Not seperate
The lid is great since I hate an open garbage but I think it should come with the garbage when ordered. Not sure why you have to order it separately

Poor design but an exact replacement
we bought a cabinet system that came as with this product and it broke in less that a year. Bought 2 more so we have some spares.Very expensive for two pieces of plastic. If you have a cabinet system with these lids they are a spot on replacement. If you are looking for a generic lid for a trash can search elsewhere. The hinges are small and easily broken. The rest of the build is pretty durable but once the hinge goes there isn't a lip or anything to keep the lid in place. My advice to the manufacturer is to make the lid hinge pop apart easier or make the hinges more durable. If the lid could pop off when the hinge is overextended then it could save the unit. Also create an inner lip that would hold the lid if the hinge breaks.

Got rid of the odours
Bought 2 but they both couldn't git on the canisters as the pull out shelf didn't come out far enough to be able to open the lid. Returned it. Immediate refund. We attach coffee packets to the underside of the lid and the garbage smell has disappeared.

Kitchen Reno
Had an garbage pull out installed in our new kitchen and were concerned about odors because there wasn't a lid. Thrilled to find one on Amazon.

Funciona de acuerdo a lo esperado
Hace su función, sella bien el contenedor de basura. Previene olores. No me gusta mucho el color, pero era la única opción disponible.
