Sync issues
My initial opinion was very positive, setup was simple and all my other Philips health devices, blood pressure monitor, thermometer and scales. Then after a week I started experiencing major sync issues with my moto g4 play. There is no obvious reason for this but having read the reviews in the android app store sync issues appear to be a common problem. I tried Philips customer service however they offered no practical assistance.such as shame as I loved the wearable concept focused on health rather than fitness. It's only caused me headaches!

I love this Health Watch
When I received Health Watch I was really impressed. This watch is so elegant. The strap is black and not irritates your skin. Before you can use it, you need to charge the watch first and then you can sync it with the app. I was having few problems during the first two weeks to sync my mobile with the app, so I could not set up my goals. I think my Samsung Galaxy S6 was playing with me. I updated my mobile and all is perfect now!!! I found it great to know how active I am during the day. App is showing me how many calories I burnt during the day, how many steps I made and also how many active minutes I had. This app is keeping all data and helps you to improve your health. Battery life is around 3-4 days. The quality of the watch is great. The display is very easy to read during the day or by night – the Philips Health Watch is equipped with touch- activated backlights. The screen is not touchscreen. To choose one of the options from the watch you need to tap the ring around the screen. Watch have both digital and analogue clock. After my injury last year and having few problems with my blood pressure, I found this watch perfect for me!! I can now track all my activities and also check my heart rate!!! And what is great the most – this watch is telling you when you should get up and move more! You can even input what foods you've eaten directly into the watch, without using the app all the time. I can monitor my sleep and this helps me to obtain good mental and physical conditions. I love this watch!! I will recommend it to all my family and friends.

Trying to workout what food you have had off the lists provided isn't good, more American to me
It's not user friendly as far as I'm concerned. Difficult to connect to my phone, takes numerous attempts and it's very frustrating. Some info doesn't come up immediately on ya phone even when it is connected. Trying to workout what food you have had off the lists provided isn't good, more American to me. Overall I'm not very happy with this product especially for the cost. Bought a cheap £14 one and it's a lot better.

Neat Watch, Expected More for The Price
I love wearing the watch and it's a good way of monitoring my steps activity. I find it doesn't record cycling effort very well, a 32km cycle came up as 350 steps although it noted that I was cycling. Doesn't record distances either, which was disappointing for the price. It's very good on recording running/jogging steps though. It has a neat digital display of an analogue watch face, which I do like. I keep forgetting to touch the outer rim adjacent to the symbols and press the actual symbols two or three times before I realise my error, but that might just be me! I'm not sure it records sleep too well either. The times may be right, but the differentiation of depths of sleep I reckon it's guessing 😜Short charging cycle of only 4 days on average. I've been caught out without the charger a couple of times. Is it possible to buy a spare USB charger?

A very good watch to help monitor a healthier lifestyle.
I bought this watch over others on the market because of its clinically validated readings which when I last went to see my GP their heart rate readings were the same as the watches. I manage to get around 4 days use before it needs charging which takes around 45 minutes to get fully charged. The watch is very well made with its metal housing and once you put your weight into the Phillips health app it gives an accurate insight to how many calories you are burning in relation to your food intake.Be aware however, when using the app to add food and calorie info it wont show on the watch so I find it best to use the watch to put my calorie info in then it syncs up with the App also once you add calorie info you cant remove it.Overall I am very happy with the watch and it has helped motivate me to loose weight, there are other brands with GPS etc but if you want the clinically validated readings then this is the one to get. Also check your phone is compatible as I had a Windows Phone which the Philips health app doesn't work with this so ended up changing my phone (thats how motivated this watch makes you)This also doesnt look to bulky either and looks like a watch rather than a large control panel - Overall good watch that I am happy with.

which weren’t great, but decided the accuracy was worth it
Read the reviews, which weren’t great, but decided the accuracy was worth it! Whilst I loved the style of the watch, the feel, the comfort, and ease of use. I was very disappointed with the HR capibility; it is listed as a medical grade product, but it sadly lacked the accuracy that a ‘fitbit’ gives. On a walk to collect the children, the screen on the watch showed around 180bpm for over ten minutes or so....should have been around 90-100bpm.....way way off....mega disappointment as the ‘medical grade’ really hooked me. Sadly if the numbers coming in are inaccurate, the algorithms won’t make them any better, therefore calorie expenditure will be vastly off!
