DEWALT 20V MAX* LED Work Light/Flashlight (DCL040)

These lights fit my needs perfectly. The price was awesome. The light arrived on time in perfect condition in a new unopened box. I used this light for years this is the 3rd one I’ve purchased, they are very bright and durable and can hold the position you need for your job. They all use the Dewalt 20v platform battery. I used 2 on my attic project and had all the light I needed. Great addition for my home projects and emergencies. Thanks. AMR.

I use it with the 2 ah battery and it is light and works great. Light coverage is good in the back yard and bright enough to see everything. I am sure it would be great for a job site too and with a bigger battery should last a long time.

We bought this fabulous flashlight over two-and-a-half years ago, and it continues to be such a great purchase! How many flashlights have you bought for a lot less that do not last? Guess what, those garbage flashlights still cost money and will continue to disappoint. Save yourself the anguish and just buy this one! Short answer: Buy this one. Longer Answer: BUY THIS ONE and here are a few reasons why: Dewalt, across the board, is an amazing product line and this one is no exception. The battery not only holds a charge for an extended amount of time (like months) it also allows you to work with it for a lot longer than the competitors do. I know this because I have foolishly purchased other brands. I also believe it charges faster than others but that just might be me. Oh, and these batteries recharge over and over again! When our power went out and our special-needs daughter needed to know she had a flashlight to get to the bathroom, this little champion was right there! The actual light produced is incredible, and there are two settings. The actual light produced is so clear and seriously bright, even over two years later! I love the fact that it really does stand up on its own without tipping over. I also love that the head pivots to so many incriments to make it a hero at any job. A flashlight is one of those things that, well, when you need it, you need it. You probably do not have the luxury of recharging it at that moment, right? This one will not let you down. I would seriously consider it for any gift list! Yes, you have to buy the battery and charger, like most of its competitors. These are well worth it. The batteries are also interchangeable with all Dewalt items. Again, buy this, you will thank me.

The beam is bright, crisp, and doesn’t make everything look like a blurry blob (seriously, goodbye guesswork). It’s rugged enough that I don’t worry about accidentally smacking it against something, yet light enough to carry without feeling like I’m prepping for a night hike. Whether it’s a power outage or just “where did I put my wallet,” this flashlight has saved the day more than once. I love the ability to connect a Dewalt battery, of which I have several due to ice fishing with my dewalt drill doing the work, to this spotlight. Since I already had some, this purchase was a no brainer. The spotlight has two settings. High and low in lumens and it doesn't disappoint you. Very bright. I will take it outside one of these evenings to see how it performs. I tried it in my house upon receipt from Amazon and it is great. Dewalt makes a good product so I didn't hesitate when I saw the sale price. You simply depress the push trigger once and you get the big lumens. On the second depression, you get the low lumens. On the third push, it goes off. Simple process. In all, you won't be disappointed with this spotlight. I primarily purchased it for night tracking wounded deer but I will also use it in the house. The 10 positions work great so it doubles for me when doing work projects. It is lightweight also and the ergonomic is a perfect fit.

This is a really nice adjustable LED flashlight/work light. It uses the same 20V battery as my DeWalt drill/driver and it's not made in China! It's very bright, 165 lumens and seems of good quality. Battery lasts a significant amount of time. Great price!

After buying a Dewalt drill for my dad decades ago, I purchased another one for our house. We’ve used it for years, and learned how reliable it is. After a seven-hour power outage last week, I found that our old flashlight was on its last leg. Searching online for a Dewalt flashlight, I learned that Amazon has the lowest price on this model. Other websites had this model priced twice, so I had to purchase it here! It was delivered a day earlier than expected, so I tried it out overnight in the dark rooms with lights off and it immediately lit the entire room. I then pointed the light up to the ceiling, and it felt like I hit the lightswitch. This is an amazing flashlight that you can rely on!

This DEWALT work light is extremely bright and dependable. It runs off the same 20V batteries as our other tools, which is really convenient. My husband had the same torch but it some how got broken, this is to replace it, as it's good as the head swivels.
