First Responder Care Essentials, Second Edition

A comprehensive first aid book, clearly laid out and informative

I am due to start training to become a CFR soon. This book was recommended to me as an aid to help me get the most out of it and hopefully (finger's crossed) a pass. The book is very well laid out and is easy to understand. The illustrations are a great help. I can see me using this book time and time again. Well worth the money and definitely recommended if you are thinking of becoming a CFR or even if you already are.

If you are interested in working as a First Responder then I would suggest that this is recommended reading as I am sure that it will help you prepare for that task.The statement on the back of the book says it all:- "An invaluable book that is informative and will assist you in the delivery of best practice in attending medical emergencies".A weighty tome, it has full colour pictures, anatomical diagrams, demonstrates clinical skills, all of which bodes well for a better understanding.

Great book for CFR’s and as a ECA it’s actually easier to access info than using the other ambulance practitioner books in some respects
