Easy To Use. Picked Up 3 Stations On Shortwave
I was able to pick up three shortwave stations using the SCAN button. Two were in English and one was in Spanish. The Spanish station was the strongest. It did a fine job of picking up FM stations as well. I didn't test the AM band or the headphones. For the price, I think it's a great buy.

A clock, a radio, and an alarm all in one
This is a great little radio that doubles as a clock when it is turned off. It allows 3 stations to be 'saved' and reachable with the touch of a button. It has an alarm clock and allows use of the 24-hour clock system). It seems to have a decent amount of range though I noticed the classical station I get in my car does not show up on the radio but then again I've only used it in my office and perhaps the building itself is diminishing the strength of some radio waves. It reaches about 8 stations in the smallish city where I live.It has a receptor to add a electric outlet cord but the cord is not included. It has ear buds included instead. I knocked a star off for the inclusion of ear buds which I cannot use at all as they are too big for my ears, and for the fact that now I have to go hunt down the correct kind of special cord to plug it into an electrical socket, which is slightly annoying when it could have been included instead of the much less useful ear buds.I have high quality ear buds so I'd never use the ones that came with the radio. Aside from that annoyance I think it is a great, well-built radio. The sound is good and clear. The buttons are tight, they don't move at all when pressing them; it feels solid to the touch. The little 'kick stand' on the back is a nice touch but I don't use it as it stands up just fine on my desk without the kick-stand.It is an excellent value overall and has many more functions that I did not mention, which are explained in the printed instruction manual that comes with it.

Clear sound
So I needed something for my cats for during the day when I'm at work. I was using my phone for cat music during the day for calming them as they are prone for anxious tendencies and behaviors. The vet has suggested I have some music to help relax them. My phone would go off a few hours after it was playing as I wasn't there to press a button saying that I'm still listening. So I decided to get a radio. This is a small little device that takes two AA batteries. There is a spot on the side for a cord to plug in but that did not come with it. It did come with some earphones. It also offers a very good size antenna. So I found a station that played classical music and now I don't have to worry about them not having anything to listen to. It's pretty easy to figure out it comes with directions as well. Definitely recommend the sound quality is really great for what this is. It also comes with a stand too you can pull out. I'm pretty happy with it. And it's really small and can fit into your purse or wherever to take with you.
