This LED mask is incredible! I originally got it for Halloween, but it was also a huge hit during Cybersecurity Awareness Month. People kept asking to take photos with me and even asked me to bring it back the next day—it’s that cool! The programmable face-transforming feature is so fun and makes it super versatile. I plan to use it again for Halloween and even when I speak at conferences. Great quality and a total attention-grabber. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stand out!

So, the product fulfills everything it said in the description. But when I got it, a little underwhelming. The lighting is not sharp at all, not very bright. The app is actually very impressive and has incredible functionality, with lights responding to music beats, seemingly hundreds of programmed looks - you can even upload your own picture! But, it seemed rather pointless, because the quality, HD, pixels, individual lights, don't measure up. I was expecting more like a electronic, virtual, monitor screen, but, you can probably count the individual led lights within the mask. Well, the definition isn't great, but the lights should be really bright, right? Surprisingly dim.I'm being rather harsh, but if I remember the price, around 80$, I was expecting a snazzy, high definition array of lights to program to my heart's delight. The mask is built well, fits my big face, but... Just a bit disappointing for me.

EDITED: so after playing around with the mask for a little I was able to go to the DIY section which allows you to upload a picture from your phone to the mask- which allowed me to create a template for what my son wanted (Boywithuke face) and upload it to the mask.On top of this the seller also reached out to me and asked if there was anything they could do to rectify/ help. So that was an awesome tidbit.. in my opinion I feel any time a seller reaches out it’s a good thing.So yes- the picture showing the boywithuke was not “exactly” that but it is still achievable.And for anyone else wanting to do this- if you google “boywithuke mask template” it should pop up with a picture of the mask that you can screenshot and upload. But I will also upload the template here for anyone who needs it. Just screenshot it. You can also watch a “how to” video on YouTube.Hopefully this edit sticks and it updates my review!I’ll also include some new pictures of my happy kiddo lolA tad bit irritated because the advertisement is a little deceiving?I’m not sure if anyone is familiar with the tik tok artist Boywithuke but if you have a young child chances are you are probably here looking for the infamous mask so that your child can be like the popular TikTok artist (crazy what we will do for our kids right? Haha). But if that is the case, do not let the title of this product, nor the pictures fool you into thinking that you will get exactly that…So Boywithuke has a led mask that has two circle eyes but they do not move nor are they animated it’s just simple- the two eyes. Which ok the product does give us the simple two eyes in a way? But it’s animated with a couple other eye movements and what not. I included a video.So the mask is cool but if you came here for your kiddo specifically looking for the Boywithuke mask- you may have to keep looking.

I have not been able to use this mask since the mask requires you to install an app on your phone. I refuse to give access to the app to access my location data as well as access to most of your phone data. There is no reason for access to my phone data just to configure a mask.The seller emailed me, just after my purchase, with additional instructions on configuring the mask and stated that I can contact them if I had any issues. Well I emailed the seller to ask if there was a way to configure the mask without giving up access to my phone's data. I guess not since I have not heard back from the seller in over 3 weeks.
