I replaced a cheap battery operated stapler because it was constantly jamming and not reliable. I spent a few extra bucks to get this one. As soon as I opened the box I knew I had made the right decision. The quality was obvious as soon as I held it in my hand. Well-made and solid. The first thing I did was to install the six AA batteries. I knew that was needed from the listing so I had purchased those ahead of time. The batteries had a good snug fit and loaded easily. I did have to study the directions to find the battery storage bay. After I did that I found it on the very bottom and slid it off with no problems. I opened the tray to load staples and much to my pleasant surprise it was already loaded. That is a very nice touch from the vendor and something you don't see very often. It comes with a power supply but I like the portability of battery operated. I also like the fact that it uses standard staples which I have a good supply of. Even though there is an adjustment setting for how far from the edge of the paper the staple is placed, I will not use that very often. I set it to staple as close to the edge as possible and it'll stay at that setting. But, it is good to know I can make an adjustment if necessary. I used it all day yesterday and never once had a problem. As soon as you insert the paper to trip the trigger, the stapler responds instantly and efficiently. You can just tell it's made right. I haven't stapled more than five sheets of 20 pound paper at a time, but I believe it will comfortably do more than five. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

I have only used it one day now at work, but it did a great job and I do a lot of stapling. I ordered it Wednesday, picked it up Thursday and took it to work on Friday. What’s not to be happy about! All that and it has a full replacement warranty should anything go wrong. Well, it has now been just under two years since I purchased this awesome stapler from Eco Electronix LLC. When I first reviewed it, I had only had it for a day and was thrilled with it’s performance and the speed at which it was delivered to me. This stapler was in use in a busy intake office at a hospital what are my coworkers and I used it seven days a week, 24 hours a day & throughout all shifts. It stopped working and I emailed the company regarding their replacement warranty. I did this on a Saturday and actually heard back from the company within an hour and a half as to what they wanted me to try first and a few numbers that they needed to send me a new one. I was in awe that they emailed me back over a weekend! I did what they asked and then sent them back another email which again, they responded to within a couple hours. That email was to inform me that they had another one on its way to me at that time. This company is quite an amazing A+ family owned and operated company. They go way beyond the five stars that we are limited to in an Amazon review. I would highly recommend ordering through this company as they stand behind their products 100% with so much grace, efficiency, speed, caring and kindness. I purchased this stapler for work after having gone through THREE different Swingline electric staplers in the last three years. This stapler was 1/3 the cost of the ones I was using, staples SO MUCH more quietly, and is so far exceeding my expectations. I appreciate that there is an included A/C plug but also an option for batteries for projects on the go. The sensor to staple the papers is responsive, but if you don't push the paper far enough, or it's at a weird angle, it won't go off. My recommendation is to hold your papers with both hands and feed them straight into the stapler for maximum efficacy. The box says the maximum number of pages it can staple is 25, though from its performance yesterday, I think it could likely handle at least 30 without issue. I will update my review if necessary, but am so far very pleased with this purchase. This stapler comes with a lifetime warranty, as well, so really you have nothing to lose going for this brand, as opposed to the bigger names. The company is also family owned in California and they donate a portion of the profits of EVERY item they sell to environmental charities, so you're getting a good product and good feelings for your conscience. *PROS -1/3 the cost of the comparable Swingline electric stapler I was using before -Very quiet -Is light and compact, but feels sturdy/made with good materials -Comes with A/C adapter, but can work with batteries for mobility -Low profile/takes up slightly less space on the desk as a tape dispenser -Company is environmentally conscious; donates proceeds of each item sold to charity -Staples included! This was a small but nice touch. Started working right out of the box *CONS -Will not immediately staple if you put the papers in at a weird angle or not far enough to trigger the sensor (but this is more about user error than product fallibility)

This saves significant time compared to manual staplers when working through thicker stacks. It staples cleanly and consistently. The main drawback is the absence of an included AC adapter, which limits plug-and-play desk use. Once powered properly, performance is reliable. Good productivity upgrade for office environments.

I have probably purchased at least ten of these over the last 3-4 years for myself and staff. There are two big pulls to this: it's reliable and it's really convenient. Reliability: Pretty reliable. Staples penetrate cleanly without a single issue. Haven't had a single jam in 3-4 years. There's a slider at the front for staple depth - that hasn't jammed either. I'm using the AC adapter, not batteries. Only one of my staplers developed an issue this month where the sensor stopped working (I believe this stapler was around 3 years old), and after contacting the company I was able to get a replacement free of charge! Really happy with that. Convenience: It just feels really good and easy to use. If you have some extra cash laying around, this is a straight upgrade to typical staplers. I'd recommend it pretty strongly for anyone that goes through a lot of staples or staplers.

I've had this stapler now for about 8 months and use it on a regular basis stapling from just two sheets of paper through to about 28 and so far, touch wood, it has been completely trouble free. no jammed staples, no problems with staples not going through all of the paper, no sharp half closed staples - perfect staplying every time. I am very happy with this product and whilst it seems expensive for a stapler, I think it is worth the money given that every hand held stapler I have ever used always jams or fails to get through more than a couple of sheets of paper and regularly only half closes the staple and always results in time wasted trying to prise out staples that are stuck using a letter knife and making multiple holes in a document and still failing to get the staple through. Excellent product.
