The product worked extremely well … providing a crisp clean mirroring of my iPad image. I’m using it for foreign movies (legally).

Worked so I could stream the Charlotte NASCAR race from my iPhone Prime Video app to my motel TV. Image was slightly reduced as it’s not 4K & the tv couldn’t be adjusted.

Bought this to replace my other that gets too hot. Sadly this does not work with Galaxy S25. Goes into "pause mode" according to the manual... Why or what that means is not explained anywhere. So you can max get 10 seconds on the screen before it says "disconnected" on my phone and the dongle goes into pause.

I gave this a great review, then changed it to a bad review as I couldn’t get it to work properly without WiFi. I figured out how do make it work with no WiFi. I download movies and tv on my phone so I can watch without any outside data. This works perfectly if you shut off Bluetooth and turn on airplane mode. I am going to try to figure out how to watch YouTube TV as well.

EDIT: I originally got this hoping that it would work for my home theater to connect an A/V receiver to a projector given that there are a lot of similar HDMI transmitter/receiver options and thought this product might work, but was unsuccessful. I updated my rating as it does work well for a laptop -> projector/TV set up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have a home theater set up that has a receiver, Apple TV and a TV. However on occasion for "movie nights" I'll set up a large screen and projector. In those instances I run a long 15' HDMI cable from the the receiver to the projector. Not wanting a long cable that can be a tripping hazard, I thought I would try this HDMI transmitter and receiver. Connecting the transmitter to the HDMI out on my A/V receiver, and this HDMI receiver to the projector did not work, unfortunately. After connecting the transmitter to the laptop, it did work though - and appeared to work well with minimal latency. The receiver recognized the transmitter and was able to connect quickly without hassle. So, if you're looking for an easy wireless connection direct between devices, or for those who want to stream from laptop to a projector without a cable, this should work well. For those seeking a solution to connect between home theater receiver and projector may want to look elsewhere. There may be a workaround, but was unable to figure it out.

Posting says you can charge IPAD through the Tx portion wile using. Not true does not charge.
