Q: Where was it made? The ones I bought were made in China and they only lasted a year.

I'm not sure where the battery was made (probably China) but mine will be a year old this September. I think it depends on how you use the battery. I have several & I rotate them each time I use a piece of equipment. I have noticed that my older batteries don't hold a charge as long as they used to though.
