Good results
Good results overall.I used this product to dye brand new light stone colour suede boots in the dark brown colour. The dye is odourless and very easy to apply using the included applicator, and also used a smallish artist paint brush for around the sole to upper area.I applied 2 coats without waiting to dry between coats (I did both shoes, then repeated the application immediately), which gave Good coverage and even colour.I would say, apply quickly and generously in a circular motion to ensure Good results. The dark brown is (as others have noted) a very slightly reddish brown once fully dry after 24 hours, but perfectly acceptable and I am happy with the finished colour. The dye did not mark or stain the rubber sole edges or stiching which is good.I will probably spray with a water repellent protector later, which I do on all my suede shoes anyway.I would recommend and use this suede dye again.

Excellent.......
A grease stain that wouldn't come off (gutted! see first pic.) is the reason why I decided to bite the bullet and dye my boots.First off I'd say that for a size 9 pair of boots, to do a good job, you need 2 bottles.Next get yourself a brand new, unused ¹/² inch or 12mm paint brush.Apply the dye with the brush, as for me it was much easier to use than the wool brush which is supplied.Be careful as this dye is very watery and does make a bit of a mess. The left hand boot in the photo has had numerous coats on my first go at it. Not quite finished as the edges need further attention, however I'm very happy so far with how it's gone on.Once both boots fully dried out I went over them again. Let them dry and went over them a third and final time. The middle picture shows the end result.I think the dye has done a great job, but be patient, and I'd advise going over the shoes / boots 3 times. The stain is still evident, but since the boots are so much darker now, it's far less noticeable.

Does what it said on the tin
It took two coats to get an even colour but so far so good and it has "saved" a pair of shoes that I accidently spilt some oil on.

Highly Recommended
Great product for restoring suede items. Although you can't see much difference in the photos in reality there is a big difference. The coat was in a poor condition with light and dark patches. After a brush out with a suede brush I used Fiebings. I recommend a bath sponge cut into smaller pieces, use a cheap one with very tight holes. Using a sponge that has small and large holes will apply the dye unevenly. It took two 4oz bottles to dye the full length coat once.I recommend when the dye is dry you use a clothes brush. Giving it a good brush gets rid of shiney parts and makes the suede look plush. The final stage was to use a waterproof and stain protector which I brushed in with the clothes brush.
