Great little fault reader
I brought a Jaguar S Type 2005 from a dealer but, when driving to Bexley (18 miles) I only managed to get half way before the dreaded engine management light came on, i took it back to the dealer and he reckoned it was crap in the fuel tank that had been sucked up as they had been using it empty. They reset the fault and I drove up to Salisbury (100 miles) and the fault light came back on again. I used this gadget (I have no previous experience with 1 of these) and found it very intuitive and brought up completely different codes than they had said it was (showing battery low fault) so when I See them on Friday I will see what faults they say it wrong. This little gadget also gives me peace of mind that it's not a urgent problem that needs to be rectified immediately or require me to stop driving. I would highly recommend LJM Direct they went out of there way to help me out with enquiries etc very happy great customer service

Bought to run a DPF REGEN. Doesn’t work.
I wanted to run a DPF REGEN. I used the device with the installed software. Didn’t work.I upgraded the device. Didn’t work.I had ability to run either version of the software. Original or upgrade. What’s even worse. Each software reported entirely different information and gave different results.I reported this to Icarsoft. Got an initial reaction. Was asked to jump through hoops to supply logs for them. To supply loads more info. This was sent back to them 9 Feb. I’ve heard nothing since. I don’t understand. These things are being sold everywhere, for quite a high price. They don’t work! And there is no support!

A must for DIY diagnosis
I had been experiencing lots of dash fault lights randomly and it turned out to be a loose battery connection. This unit was used to reset all the fault codes in the 30+ ECU's in my Range Rover Sport. Starting from a clean position I used the unit to read all the ECU fault codes again and it told me about 2 remaining faults. A fault with the heated drivers mirror (Flipped the glass off easily and cleaned corroded contacts - Fixed!) It also indicated a fault with low AC gas pressure (topped the gas up at local garage - now ready for summer!). Worth while as other functions such as Brake Bleeding (Via ABS system), DPF regen, Injector calibration, New Battery BMS reset, Steering angle calibration and EPB operation/calibration
