I use these in my fireplace and when I go camping with my daughter. They ignite as soon as touched by a flame and even though they burn rather fast they burn really hot and light the wood. You just place them in your kindling and logs and light them making them easy for anyone to make a fire with the. I would definitely pay the money to buy again because they work wonderfully even if the wood is slightly damp. They are not very heavy in weight and I only use 2 at a time to start a fire because I place one on both sides of my wood. They are great value.

Great little fire starters. Easy to break apart for smaller pieces. Better price than other brands of the same quality. Burn a fair bit longer than previous ones of the same size/thickness. No bad odors when burning either.

These fire starter cubes are easy to light. I've bought these in the past and have always been pleased, using them to light the fire in our wood stove. I appreciate the fact that there are 160 cubes in the package. They actually come in "sheets" that are easily broken apart into 16 cubes. I highly recommend them.

These work great! I use them as a cheat to start my fire in the fireplace in the morning so I don't have to cut kindling lol. I was using those durable quickstart sticks and breaking them. I didn't like those because they are sticky and have that chemical smell. I just got them this morning and used one and it started up just as good as what I had been using! Will be buying these from now on! They are not soaked with anything that gets on your hands no smell and break apart nice. Love them!

They work great, start up immediately, generally burn long enough to ignite the logs. Only complaint is that the cubes are small...about half the size of my previous cubes.

Easy use. A couple of the starter squares is usually all you need to get a fire going. I use in my woodburner as well as camping to start campfires. I’ve found they are a great to start charcoal on the grill instead of lighter fluid that often can be tasted in the foods cooked over charcoal. I’m on box number 10, rebuying often
