Great TMRs by Aknes
Only bought these because the Gulkit TMRs wouldn’t have arrived in time but now I’m happy I did. These work great, if not better than the Gulkit TMRs! When testing, I got a lower input error percentage vs the Gulkit (average 3% vs Gulkits 3.7%) when using Gamepad Tester - Impressive! I also like the blue body of the joysticks compared to the black found on the Gulkits. If you’ve never used TMRs before, these are much better than the stock ALPS joysticks found from factory as there’s no friction between the potentiometers and the joystick, allowing your controller to be drift free forever! You’ll need good soldering skills to install these without damaging your controller. I recommend grabbing a rework station if you’re a regular or at least a decent soldering iron + variable heat gun and maybe some low melt for easy removal. **Make sure to calibrate them before use as they don’t come working optimally out the box - you’ll need to calibrate stick centre and stick range.** If these could be improved, Aknes should give us something like the KK rings (thumb grips with metal between the grip and the base) found on the Gulkits. From my own testing, I’ve found the metal glides smoother against the DualSense shell vs the plastic used on stock and Aknes grips. These feel more like a fresh OEM controller that never degrades vs knowing you have TMRs installed. Aside from that price difference is about £1-2 so not much between them - both are solid options. Overall 5 stars

Great tmr sticks
Great product, but before you buy, you need some skill with soldering; it won't be easy for beginners.

I simply cannot fault these replacement joysticks
The perfect replacement for a PS5 controller with stick drift. I've previously used both standard ALPS replacement joysticks, which are doomed to suffer with drift again eventually and the cheap Hall Effect sticks with a calibration pcb which can be somewhat of a nightmare to get perfect. Replacement is straightforward for someone with semi-decent soldering skills, the calibration process simply requires any PC with a chromium based browser, go to the calibration site, spin the sticks and you're left with zero drift and fantastic circularity.

Well packaged, Working perfect!
First time attempting joystick replacement, items were packaged well. Installed and setup perfectly. Time will tell how long they last but perfect so far.

Current king of Thumbsticks.
These are absolutely brilliant...... but getting the old ones out clean is a task due to 14 solder points.

Drift free DualSense, love it!
After having tried the black ones, I thought I'd give these a try in a different controller. Using a desoldering tool, I directly swapped out both modules and replaced them with these. Smooth as silk, both installation and use wise. Not for the feint hearted granted, but with a lot of patience and a little learning, these will make gaming sessions definitely last longer.

Avoid
The joysticks worked, but for some reason when trying to play Fornite you just spin 360 degrees constantly. Hence, going to have to replace them

Sticks aren't great
Replacements themselves are perfect but the sticks are slightly proud when the controller is reassembled. They rub on the casing and don't recentre themselves. Just means you have to use the old sticks

Challenging to remove the old joysticks, but these work perfectly and corrected my PS5 stick drift. You need to do proper calibration after installation.

I first started soldering one and testing if it would work and it did, after soldering the other one suddenly my controller stopt working at all. I couldn’t make it to work again with both stick attached to it.

I have installed 10 of these TMR joysticks in the past month. They have all worked well and I haven't had any issues with them yet. After calibrating, I get error rates between 3-5% on the circularity test. This is way better than the 10-11% I typically see with original PS5 joysticks. The game play is so smooth and so much more precise! I absolutely love the improvement these joysticks have made to my gaming experience. Well worth the upgrade! Do make sure that you have a soldering iron that can reach 450C, and a hot-air gun or desoldering iron for removing the original joysticks is recommended.

Works great. Did have some difficulty removing old sensors. So had to cut them apart to make removal easier. Good idea to get an electric desoldering pump or a desoldering heating plate designed for analog sensors if you want to remove the old sensors without destroying them. Decent soldering skills and equipment absolute necessity.,
