Works with an auger or metal wire snake.
Worked for my needs I could not get it down the 4 inch drain pipe to look for some roots. I had to use a half inch auger snake and I tied the camera to it to get it down the drain. I do wish that it had a bigger end on it so that the water would not get on it too much and ruined the image, but I was able to see where the roots were coming in and made my decision easier rather I had to dig it out or just use an auger on occasion. I have decided to save the time and money and just run an auger every so often and water the trees some to prevent the roots from getting too the pipe.

Only been a couple of days of use. Just what I was looking for: picture quality is sharp, easy to operate and great value for the money.

Really good optics
The camera and monitor work perfectly. The only drawback is the difficulty manipulating the camera through tight bends and corners . There are devices that allow articulation of the camera head but those come at a cost; those are more expensive, have shorter runs, and typically larger diameters. Overall, this is well worth the cost.

Works great!
Great picture clarity! I wish I would’ve spent a little more for the one that articulates.

For Sewers ?
Cable tore after 5 min of use. It says it's meant for sewers but not sure about that. The camera quality is good but if you have old iron pipes that are rusted or damaged don't use it in the sewer. Now PVC sections was perfectly fine. This cable Is not meant for heavy push pull work in the sewers.

Impressive...
Just received the Teslong inspection borescope/camera today and I must say, it looks better than I expected. While I cannot speak to the longevity of this unit, I can say that the build quality looks very good, especially for a borescope at this price point. This unit came fully charged and seems quite easy to operate, and the instruction manual is simple and easy to understand. The screen is clear and is also adequate in size. The brightness settings are a great feature, as well as the ability to take pictures and record video when using a memory card. I am anxious to use this as I have wanted one of these for a long time. Even though I don't have a specific use for it, I am sure it will come in handy in the future as I tinker with my cars out in my garage. Based on first impressions, I would highly recommend the NTS430 Teslong Borescope.
