Just be careful when using it
It feels cheaply made. But it works great. Just add ice and salt, and spin it for a few minutes. Then you get a nice ice cold drink.

This works, but there are some things to know
This works because you're moving the liquid in the can/bottle around (without shaking it up) so that it keeps coming in contact with the cold. So the goal here is twofold: get something cold around the can/bottle...ideally something that is a good conductor of heat, and then move the liquid in the can/bottle around to make as much contact as possible. The device does great at the moving part. But it's sealed up poorly, so you're stuck either just putting in ice (not ice water) as the directions state ...but that's not a ton of contact area, or putting in ice water (which maximizes contact with a good heat conductor) but either using a very shallow bath, or getting water on your counter. I would have loved for them to have made this a bit bigger, so it didn't need the cutout for the bottle neck) and then had a water tight tub so you could fill it with ice water rather than just ice cubes. I think that was a missed opportunity for a thing that otherwise works very well. Anyway, if you're still reading - this will cool a can from uncomfortably warm (78 degrees) to comfortably drinkable 45 degrees in 60 seconds of spinning. Keep going for another 30 seconds and you'll drop it down into the 30s if you want that type of crispy beverage. So, it ABSOLUTELY works to chill your beverages faster than any other method I'm aware of, I just feel like there were some missed opportunities to go from good to great in the design.

Beyond WORTH IT!
This thing is incredible, it is unbelievable how icy cold the can will get after 2 mins of spinning. Really easy to spin it as well. I don’t think there’s anything else on the market that can chill a can that fast. 1 minute of spinning is more than enough. Absolutely love this item. Bought 2 more. This one’s an easy buy.

A fun way to cool your drinks.
This gadget definitely isn’t a must-have, but when the craving for an ice-cold drink strikes and you don’t feel like waiting for the freezer to do its thing, it’s surprisingly fun to use. With a bit of effort—and as long as you don’t overcrowd the bin with ice—it does the job well. Watching your drink get colder and colder as you crank it feels oddly satisfying. As a one-off novelty gift, or even as a creative way to get the kids to put in a little manual labor for their refreshment, this can turn into an entertaining experience. The best part? After working for their reward, they’ll end up with the perfect chilled beverage. It’s not the most serious solution to rapid drink cooling, but for what it’s worth, it’s actually quite fun once you get going. And if you add a little table salt to the ice, you can push the temperature down even further. When you add salt to ice, it makes the ice melt faster. But melting ice absorbs heat, so as the ice melts, it pulls heat away from your drink, making it colder, faster. So, a little salt helps the cooling process work better and quicker! Features: Removable insert—accommodates longer bottles or standard soda cans Manual crank cooling—chills drinks without electricity Compact and portable—great for outdoor use and gatherings Fun, interactive experience—turn the crank and watch your drink cool down

drink, ice, spin...THEN DRINK
i'm only going 4 stars because complete lack of instructions. but heres the best practices i came up with: * if you use ice from ice trays they will be too big and you'll have some struggles. * its much better to break the ice cubes up. (this will create more surface area and cool the drinks down faster, and colder anyway) * If your drink is room temp, spin for ~45 secs with small (or broken up) ice cubes for the best results. * ~30 secs will be noticeably cooler, but not noticeably "cold" * dont leave the ice between drinks, as the ice blocks the rotator and you'll have to empty it out anyways before each drink, so instead, just place your drink on the rotator, add your small ice bits...rotate for at least 30 seconds (60sec for best results) and then empty the ice. add ice when its time for your next drink no pics or videos as we can't show the namebrands of our beverages of choice. you should have all the info you need to get your drink frosty though. dont be afraid to spin quickly. the rotation wont shake up the drink and you shouldn't have to worry about carbonation.
